A great product
I just bought a Macbook Air and an iPad Air and they all have UBS-C adapters instead of Lightning connectors (traditionally MacBook Air has USB-C connector and iPad has Lightning connector). Unfortunately my wired earphone has Lightning connector. This adapter helps me keep using the wired earphone. The adapter works very well and the sound quality is great. Happy with the purchase. Note: This adapter is only for Audio and can't be used to charge the MacBook Air or the iPad Air. At this time iPhones still have Lightning connectors so this product is not needed for the iPhone.

works perfect!
it works perfect with my ipad 10th gen and my earpods with lightning connector (the earpods that used to come with iphones). and the shipping was fast. there is no loss in the sound quality, it works perfect for audio.

No volume control
Sadly, the time to return this item has passed by a mere three days. I worked with IT to troubleshoot the issue of lack of volume control. It will not allow decreasing or increasing the volume from my computer and the decibel produces is deafening.DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

It worked when it worked
I was hoping that I would be able to use this for at least a few months for my Macbook. However, I was soon disappointed when it gave out rather quickly (within 1-2 weeks). I used it a little more than a few hours at a time and it became very hot to touch within 30 minutes to an hour easily. To end on a positive note, the product worked perfectly well during its lifespan.

Worked perfectly.
Adapter worked as expected on my iPad Pro. Sound quality is great. Bought a few for home and on the go.

Works only on Macbook
Works great on a MacBook. Not compatible for IPad or Window devices. For non compatible devices, you can still hear audio but volume is not controllable.

Simplifies an Apple problem
Cable works as expected. I still use wired esrbuds. This allows me to use my earbuds in the ipaf with usb-c connector. Good job

serves its purpose
This serves its purpose.. I have an android and iphone so I can use the same wired headphones. The only call out is that the adapter gets hot... I have to unplug it.. not sure that's suppose to happen.
