Brilliant

Not normally a great fan of Sealy, but I have to say the quality of this does feel very good, plugged into my strimmer because I was pretty sure I needed a coil pack, but I’m glad to say it’s working fine and tests alright confirmed by this tester. Overall very impressed with this full stars from me

Spark tester
Useful and simple spark tester that gives a good clear to see spark. With hindsight, it might have been easier to check my twin cylinder motorcycle if I had bought two of them.

Does the job
Great little time saver when troubleshooting a small engine. It answers the question as to whether or not the spark plug is getting any electric juice.

Not quite plug and play
It does the job quickly and simply once connected, but many of the newer suppressor type HT caps necessitate the removal of the aluminium nipple on top of the spark plug; if you have this type you are then committed to scrabbling in your boxes of bits to find one of the old type HT caps and another nipple, and this assumes that the cap that is on the engine isn't moulded in one piece with the lead. This could be simply solved by making the tip of the probe on the tester removeable in the same way that it is on a spark plug.
