Bought these after hearing from our neighbor about their brown recluse spider infestation. I put these down as a precaution in case we had any brown recluses lurking in our house that we didn’t know about. We haven’t seen any in our house, nor have we trapped any. But, we have trapped tons of earwigs, beetles, roly poly & centipedes. These work! Bugs go nowhere after getting trapped on it. Easy to toss & replace as needed. Well worth the peace of mind

These traps are easy to set up. They come in pairs that have to be separated out of each cardboard rectangle in the pack. Tearing the two apart in each pair doesn’t always result in straight margins, as seen in the picture – not that critters would care, though, just for the aesthetics. The glue patch leaves ¼” clear margins, the trap can be lifted between fingers from the sides without any glue getting on the fingers, unlike other traps that have the full inside surface covered with glue.The glue is definitely sticky and it works, I got a silverfish stuck for good in one of these. Still, I am semi-skeptical of these traps efficiency as no spider got stuck in any of them so far, even in the one now baited with a silverfish. I placed the traps around areas where spider webs keep popping up: no luck. Sure, it is winter and possibly not many of these critters are roaming around. I will rate these traps at four stars for now, will update my rating when able to testify for some real catch.

These traps are sticky like a roach glue trap. I'm not sure how they are supposed to attract spiders; they appear to be only glue and paper. Spiders in my house seem to be staying away from them. The beetles on the other hand keep getting stuck. So, that's a win in my book.The glue is sticky enough for all sorts of insects to get caught.

I am very scared of spiders. I know they are helpful but they are not welcome in my house. I can't handle it. These are awesome! This pack comes with 20, plenty for ALL the places in my house! A little peace of mind for myself.

One item, before you remove the cover to the sticky pad, you will need to "flatten" the bottom of the trap. Out of the bag they have a tendency to bow up a little from the bottom. The picture on the right is out of the bag, to the left I pressed down before removing the protective film. I am afraid that spiders / bugs would get underneath and not over and in.I like the one feature which is different with these is the entry on all four sides. Most traps only have two entrances / exits.Because I had to manipulate the bottom, I pulled one star.

Diesen Artikel be- und aufgestellt, bisher (3 Wochen?) ohne Erfolg.Aber eigentlich bin ich ganz froh: Die Vorstellung, die Spinne einem elenden Tod auszusetzen, ist nicht unbedingt erbaulich. Dann lieber ein Mitbewohner.Horst, ich nenne die Spinne Horst.

Within 24 hours of placing a handful of these down, I’d caught my first medium-large spider. We’ve found 4 the size of a hand in the first week of moving into an old derelict house and needed to act fast! Placement will be key, so our multiple down and target areas that are hot spots. Only downside is they’re stuck there, alive, until you either hit them (and break/close up the trap in doing so) or dispose of the trap. I sprayed mine so it would put it out of its misery earlier, but now have to look at it each time I walk past as I don’t want to dispose of the trap 24 hours in!Effective trap if you place it well and are happy to deal with the above consequences!

I liked the ease of putting these together. Purchased for my trailer. More than enough in the pack. Haven't checked yet to see if worked but definitely sticky enough.
