O.K.
This set comprises 2 packs of cards, one red, one blue, a rule book, a note pad and some play paper money. The quality of the paper is quite poor, the cards are a bit thin, and I was hoping for some plastic chips for poker but, hey, for Β£7.99 it's fine. The games covered are English Short Whist, Oh Hell, Hearts, Poker, Rummy, Canasta, Piquet, Ecarte, Five Hundred, Bezique, Auction Pinochle, Pontoon, Michigan Rum and the Patience games Beleaguered Castle, La Belle Lucie, Canfield, Klondike, Miss Milligan, Salic Law, Spider, and Sultan. There are slightly too many patience games for my liking and I would have liked Cribbage rules included. As you will have noticed, that does not total 35 games as claimed on the box, so I can only presume that they are counting every variation to the basic games that are given after each one. I don't know much about card games so I didn't realise that quite a few require "short" packs, which means you have to extract the required cards from the full packs before you can play.

Does the Job
There is nothing more to say that it does what it purports to. No complaints. I was a little bit disappointed with contents vs costs, but it is exactly what it says it is - maybe my expectations were too high.

Great for bored children (and adults!)
Having played all the games we know 100 times, this was great as has so many new games we have never heard of.

Not great
Expensive for 2 packs of cards, some monopoly money and a paper book with not many games, most of which we already know.
