As expected EXCEPT, the size of 16in includes the sides. So... the actual face is 12.25 inches. I don't think its worthy of a negative review but definitely the description needs to be amended. It just looks smaller than expected. Good gift though.

I enjoy this product. It looks great hanging on the wall, also, in a pinch, it can be turned upside down and used as a dish and maybe even a soup bowl. It would also hold a fair amount of cereal.
