I bought these as a precaution whilst supporting the Montane Winter Spine endurance race. Got stuck on a hill coming out of Malham early in the morning, before the ploughs/gritters had ben through. These saved my bacon! The wheel arch clearance wasn't great, as the vehicle is set to a sport suspension, however, we got them on and they worked perfectly. Got us up the hill without a single skid/wheelspin. I'm exceptionally pleased I bought them, and would recommend them to anyone who needs something small and light to keep in the boot for emergencies! Whilst I don't think they would provide sufficient traction on sheet ice, on compacted snow they worked a treat.

Arrived on time and fit well. Hopefully will never know how effective they are. But looking at the product I expect them to be very good.

I bought these for a trip to Scotland over New Year. They worked brilliantly - loads more traction than I was expecting on a steep lane with ice and snow. Conditions were undrivable in my front-wheel drive without them. Lots cheaper than buying winter/snow tyres. They were quite easy to fit - took a few minutes - and to remove - took a minute. They bedded on the wheel quickly when moving.

Ho acquistato le calze da neve ARCOL, modello omologato EN 16662-1, per la mia Fiat 500X, e devo dire che si sono rivelate un prodotto davvero utile e di qualità. Si tratta di due catene da neve in tessuto, facili da montare sugli pneumatici, e ho scelto la taglia L, compatibile con cerchi da R14 a R20 (le misure per ogni pneumatico sono dettagliate all’interno della confezione). L’installazione è semplice e veloce: il tessuto è flessibile e si adatta perfettamente alle ruote della 500X, senza necessità di strumenti particolari. Anche chi non ha mai montato catene da neve riesce a posizionarle in pochi minuti, rendendo il viaggio sicuro anche su neve o ghiaccio.
