FendrihanNatural Genuine Pure Boar Beard or Hair Brush with Pearwood Handle, Small 6.7" MADE IN GERMANY

I’m “no-poo” (I don’t use commercial shampoo) and mostly wash my hair using only water. Because of this, brushing with a boar bristle brush is an important part of my routine since it helps to distribute natural oils and keep my hair clean. I (finally) needed to replace the plastic brush I bought when I started no-poo, and this seemed like a decent step up without spending $80+.The brush is sturdy and feels good in my hand. The bristles are firm without being too coarse and easily work through sectioned hair to distribute and remove sebum. The size is great - large enough to work reasonable sections of hair without the task becoming tedious but still compact enough to travel with. It works just as a boar bristle brush should, and leaves my hair looking fluffier after each brushing.

I have another Fendrihan brush that is similar to this reviewed model but with softer bristles. The older brush never gave me any problems, except I purchased one that was just too soft (my fault). This second one I purchased lost about a dozen bristles when new, and after months still loses a bristle at times. Maybe the losses are coming to an end. It remains worrisome, though. At this point, I rate it at 4 only because the bristle loss may have stopped and the brush still seems fit for continued service. If bristle loss continues, my rating would decline.

Handle feels good in the hand, better than handle-less. Bristles massage scalp and hair lays better than man-made brush/bristle. Compact enough to travel with in dopp kit. This is a quality brush.

I have bout previously from Fendrihan on Amazon. I bought the boar hair brushes with olive wood handles and I couldn't say how great they were, so I bought this one assuming it is as good as those, but after I received it I had the feeling that it is not as as nice as the olive handle ones. (the boar head were fine, I am just judging the handle).

Works well. Bristles are stiff enough to actually reach lower levels of hair. Will order again.

This brush is good for brushing and smoothing curly hair. Bristles are firm and help produce waves. Bristles are firm but could be harder. Bristles remain in tack. Some brushes shed their bristles. This one does not! Good brush for the money.

This Fendrihan brush is a fine quality product, beautifully made. It clearly deserves a five-star rating. Two minor notes: the boar bristles are a bit stiff and the wood handle is dark brown, not as shown in the photo. But neither of these notes detract from my complete satisfaction with this brush.
