Royal Imports Organza Wired Sheer Ribbon for Floral & Craft Decoration, 50 Yard Roll (150 FT Spool) - Black

This is the prettiest hot pink, sheer, wire-edged ribbon! It's almost neon in a tasteful way. It's bright yet classy and, because of the wired edge, is easy to work with to form a great bow. I have it paired with a leopard print paper and then also with a deep green malachite-marbled paper and it looks great with both. It adds a touch of unexpected fun to the packages because it is so pink. The middle is sheer so that is an understated part but along the edges the ribbon is thicker and wired and that's where the neon-like brightness comes in and just -"Pow!"- makes a statement. I shouldn't say neon because it's not trendy neon - its just the perfect shade of "extra" you want in a pink ribbon. I ordered several rolls of the 50 yards and doubt it will ever run out. If it does run out I'll be reordering for sure. I LOVE this ribbon!

Last minute I was forced to buy ribbon and make 12 bows for the pews at my daughter’s wedding. This ribbon was beautiful. It’s a sheer white organza ribbon with wire sides covered in a white thread. The bows came out beautiful and held their shape. Of course when they’re in a box they get smashed but they’re very easy to fluffed back up and they stay fluffed until any weight is applied to them. The only negative was it was hard to cut this ribbon and we weren’t able to cut a V at the bottom of each tail, we ended up just cutting a slant. I highly recommend this width ribbon when making a bow. These came out so pretty that I didn’t need the baby’s breath the florist attached to the back of them. Unfortunately, we had to make these last minute and the baby’s breath was already ordered and paid for. Alone, these bows came out really pretty and airy. We added extra layers of ribbon to dangle down behind these bows to make them look fuller. I highly recommend. If it came in 3 inches wide, I would even recommend making the bows a little bit bigger. We used one roll of ribbon and we got 12 bows with four loops on each side and about 2 foot long tails on each end. We divided the total number of inches on the roll by 12 to determine the length of each ribbon

This ribbon was so easy to use-- the wires made it easy to manipulate and tweak the ribbon for the perfect poofiness in my pompom bow. I remember reading other reviews say the wire was on the thin side, but I actually preferred it like that because I could easily cut the ribbon with scissors and not pliers. The width of the 2.5 inch was just what I needed for a large box. The blue color is very rich and regal looking. I also got the 1.5" in gold, and it looks as it should be, I just haven't gotten to use it yet. The amount of ribbon on each spool is a lot, so definitely worth the money to me. I didn't want to fear not having enough for my present or wrapping one single gift and not having enough for future gifts. The amount is also great because I want to practice my bows. I thought I would have to practice a lot, since it was my first time making a pompom bow, however, it was perfect on the first try.

easy to handle to make bows

Had been looking for elegant ribbon to use for aisle bouquets. Blended this with a 2 sided satin ribbon and it worked perfectly. Price could be better, which is reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
