Philips Series 7000 Shaver — Wet and Dry Electric Shaver, Beard, Stubble and Moustache Trimmer with SkinIQ Technology, Black

My last electric shaver, like 40 years ago, didn't cut hair but more like pulled them out. This one is very good and the instructions are well-written. It doesn't trim down to the skin and leaves a (very slight) stubble, so with grey hair it does make for a good appearance. Back in the day with very dark hair I think it would likely leave a shadow. It's smooth and comfortable to use and clean and has an additional cleaning kit with icon's on the shaver to tell you that you're using it properly and when it's time to use the 'cleaning pod.' Shavers have obviously come a long way and this one is well worth the relatively reasonable price.

Had older brands but this one does a excellent job

Father in law gets a great shave, really likes it is rechargeable and waterproof. Charge lasts a long time, can use with or without cord. Can use in the shower or not. Nice design to hold.

Shaver functions fine with one annoying flaw. The release button for the razor is positioned such that you will inevitably open the top unintentionally. It's pretty annoying to be shaving and then have beard dust fall down your chest and clothes.
