Fun colors, my boys wanted the pieces and colors more then the puzzle. Better value for price per piece then the tubes. The gold color is more bronze is my boys' only comment. They are still happy about them.

This was a gift for an elementary school boy and he was thrilled. He loved the colors!

We're about half way through this "puzzle'' and are enjoying it, but I'm not very pleased with the stiffness of the blocks - they're difficult to push all the way together so they're tight. My 9 year old son is currently in that awkward moment of "I'm not enjoying it anymore, but I don't want to be a quitter.... should I stick it out and finish - OR - cut ties and build something more enjoyable." I will agree that the pieces do not naturally want to be tight together like you would think they should.... so it does cross the line into "eh - it's losing appeal as I move forward."I see value in it, but know in advance that you need to ensure that EVERY piece is TIGHT together before moving on to the next piece. Only really suitable for the right audience that would enjoy that specific type of challenge.

First off I love that these pieces are not your typical thick cardboard type pieces, they are made of a thick plastic material that can’t be ruined if wet, can’t be bent and can’t stick to my clothing while I’m walking around dropping and losing pieces all over my house! Yay win win! Lol the puzzle is easy enough for a younger child 7/8 to follow the instructions to be able to put together the actual design (peacock in this case) which little assistance from me. But not only can you create the beautiful bird, you can make your own designs or go on the company website and search for other designs you can create with these same pieces! How cool is that?! It’s really fun and is a nice twist of the typical normal puzzle! Great as a gift as well.

We've had Plus Plus building sets before - we have a sports one where you build soccer goals, holiday ones, where we've made presents but this is a different take on it and it's pretty cool. It's basically a color by number puzzle, using the pieces on the preprinted poster. There are 11 colors in all which you line up on the side on the color chart and then you just lay down and attach the pieces in a 2-dimensional form to create the picture. There are 800 pieces in all which you can always use to build some 3-D figures once you are done doing your "puzzle". Fun concept and I really like the peacock design and colors!

We have never tried this sort of puzzleBefore, but we really enjoyed the experience.We haven’t tried making our own design, but this system lends itself well to lots of creative projects!

My kids love Plus Pluses and have been big fans of the tubes for years. The smaller tubes have been great on trips since they are really packable and give lots of variety. I hadn't thought about using them to "paint" a picture but this concept is really great. It gives a different dimension to the play and at the end of the day you can still build whatever 3-dimensional shapes you want. Overall these are a great gift and a lot of fun for pretend play with the kids. Being able to find other designs or making your own really adds to the fun.The only downside is that they are a bit prices for a bunch of small plastic parts that are surely molded for fractions of a penny each. We have found 'generic' versions at local stores for significantly less and added them into the mix. But at the end of the day, the PLUS PLUS brand is continuing to innovate so I'm happy to support them.

This puzzle is so fun. I love that the van buy other patterns and use the same pieces. Great gift for anyone that likes puzzles.
