RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT!
So here's the deal. No one likes having flies buzzing around, whether you're inside or outside your home—no need to con yourself. After a weekend of having visitors, most of whom may not have understood the concept of closing a door, we were tormented by some unwanted guests. That's when the ValueHall fly swatter arrived on the scene.Tired of swatting like a maniac, I was giddy to unpack this and start swinging. I'll admit, there's a learning curve here. You can't expect to be a pro right out of the gate. I stalked my prey, itching the press the button on the shaft. The house fly, becoming arrogant now, lands right in front of me. I take a John McEnroe swing at the enemy, and a remarkably satisfying ZAP screams from the racket.Victory, or so I thought. The fly, tased and dazed, lies upside down in front of me. No sooner did my adrenaline start to come back to earth when the thing turns over and takes off again. I look at the swatter and rattle off a stream of expletives. This scene replays itself a dozen times. Finally, realizing a training camp might have been a good idea; I recalibrate my strategy. I get the same lock on the target, but this time hover the racket over the soon-to-be victim. I pancake the fly into the swatter. The familiar ZAP presents itself again, but this time it is relentless. The fly is caught in the metal netting, slowly being charbroiled as it pops around erratically. This time the swatter leaves no doubt.Within 30 minutes, I had three more collars. I even had a random drain fly fall prey. I use the pancake method again, and the drain fly explodes. Not gross explode, but more like wholly eviscerated. Although I haven't gone hunting for mosquitos yet, I suspect they would provide similar excitement.ValueHall has found a way to provide a strange satisfaction in eradicating unwelcomed guests. I'd bring this thing everywhere if I didn't get so many odd looks.

Don’t purchase!
This is not a good product at all. It is awkward to use and it folds up on its own. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Surprisingly fun and effective.
The media could not be loaded. A quick flick of the wrist and those flying flying foes will be gone with a spark and a loud crack. We most often are using it to combat the little fruit flies that try to take up residency in summer but it works just as well for hornets and ordinary house flies. A couple waves across the fruit bowl catches them as the try to fly away. We also take it outside for dinners on the deck. Only minor complaint is that it can’t be charged when it is folded but that isn’t a big deal. Happy with the purchase.

Safe, efficient, non toxic way to get rid of flying pests
In the summer I have the worst time getting rid of flies that are attracted by the food the cat leaves in her bowl. I don't want to spray chemicals in the house. so this racket seemed like an interesting alternative to the expensive ultraviolet bug zappers found in grocery stores and restaurants. The handle is hinged to save space; it unfolds and latches in position. The racket comes with a USB to microUSB charge cable (the charging port on the handle is located at the base of the handle behind a cover) as well as a brush. To zap a bug, you first turn the power on with the slider switch on the handle, then press and hold the yellow button to energize the zapper and wave the racket in the trajectory of the bug. You'll know if you hit the bug when you see the bright flash of light and hear the satisfying zap.The zapping area is covered on both side by a plastic mesh to prevent the zapping of fingers. Finally, there is a built-in blue light that can be activated with a second switch on the handle.Works great, love this device! Recommended.
