Even better than the first ...
I actually adored this story; it was excellent! The author has really got the hang of keeping the reader enthralled with all the twists and turns, and the atmosphere and sense of place is terrific. MainCharacters are developing well...much better than in book one, and I can't wait to settle in to book three.Fabulous. Five stars! 🙂

Love this series
I am loving this new series I’ve stumbled upon. Great characterisation, great plots that keep you guessing till the end and highly likeable main characters. Altogether great escapism and would recommend to anyone who likes a mystery crime novel without the gore.

lovely
This series is lovely. I thoroughly enjoy all the characters. The “regular” cast are great - Al, Jayden, Mullins, Saffron - but what sets this series apart are the fully formed new characters each book. I so enjoyed Bev & Neil, Wilson, and even poor Phil. It’s a full cast of humanity circling each other during a very difficult time. It gives the whole book heart. Well done.

Loved it
I liked the 1st book more but this also held my interest. The characters come to life and the mystery keeps you guessing. A little bit of everything. Mystery, love, friendships and of course murder

A Good Story Told Well
I loved the rich characters and the setting. Emilia Hall has created believable characters that we care about. I enjoyed the second installment as much as the first. I would love to visit the shell house and spend more time with these characters. This was, in my opinion a good story well told.

Great cosy mystery
This is the second book in the series, bringing back Jayden and Ally and assorted cast members for yet another mystery. Or two. Kudos to the author who brings together a sympathetic cast of characters, not perfect but personable, and let's them loose on a wonderful Cornwall setting. Christmas is fast approaching, in the town of Mousehole the Iights are going on and people are celebrating. Well not everyone, not the dead man who has just been found. So it starts again for our amateur sleuths. If you are looking for an excellent cosy mystery that keeps you guessing try this, but read book 1 first. I hope this series will be around for long time.

Heart warming series
Great read, the characters have depth independently from one another and there is multiple facets to the story keeping you on the edge of your seat and turn pages to find what happens next. I can't wait for the next book to come out.
