Great and useful!
Edit: after about 2 years of keeping it wrapped around itself, the protective plastic wiring from the bottom of the gluegun has fallen away. The glue gun still works great, but you can see the individual red/green/yellow wires as the outer casing has โslipped offโ a bit from the bottom (about 2-4cm). Advice to keep it flat when in storage to avoid this potential problem. This is a great glue gun for beginners because it comes with plenty of glue sticks and heats up in about 5-10 mins. It's very easy to use, though you have to be careful of the metal tip when operating because it can burn you. When you first use the gun, it will make some 'smoke' but the packaging says this is normal and it only happens the first few times you use it. It can take some practice but this gun can be quite precise and the glue holds quite well for some fabrics (so far I've only used it on felt, but it works great). It takes about 10-20 mins for the glue to set, and about 5 mins if you use only a line of glue. When the melted glue comes straight out of the gun, it can burn you as well, so be careful if excess glue leaks out of what you're gluing. As a crafting tip, it you try to apply more glue to an area which already has dried glue, the metal tip can slightly re-melt the dried glue. As a result, the original glue may fall apart and you might have to start over- the only way I found to avoid this is to make sure the tip doesn't come into too much contact with it. May be a stick can help move the glue in place. A very good buy, and I hope it will last me a while.

RAGNAROS Hot Melt Glue Gun
A Hot Melt Glue Gun, is one of those little gadgets that you donโt always have a use for, but are really handy to have around the house. I bought the RAGNAROS glue gun, as my partner wanted to make some decorations for Christmas as I knew it would be perfect for the job and would also come in handy in the next couple of years as my son gets older and wants to make things. This particular gun is 60W, which is more powerful than many of the cheaper guns, is made from a very solid feeling plastic which does not creak at all when pulled or twisted and has a very comfortable handle (far more comfortable than the old Bosch gun that I had, before somebody โborrowedโ it). The handle also houses a handy on/off switch. Glue sticks are placed into the gun at the rear and are fed through to the fairly small tip of the gun, which is great for accurate placement of glue. Finally, a little fold up stand is located towards the front of the gun, to keep the tip away from your work surface when you put it down. ***** In The Box ***** 1 x RAGNAROS Glue gun 1 x Stand 30 x Glue Sticks ***** Conclusion ***** Iโm really pleased that I went for this particular glue gun, as it feels like it is a good quality product and is really comfortable in the hand when using it. I really like that it heats up nice and fast (around 5 mins), so you do not have to wait around too long before using it and I really like the small nozzle, which makes it a little easier to place the glue exactly where you want it. The 30 glue sticks that are included with the gun, make this a great value for money product.

I did not expect this to be useful over a normal adhesive but it is
Amazing and powerful hot glue gun, just what I needed for my DIY activities. I was skeptical about a hot glue gun and found myself using normal strong adhesive prior to having this. However, I soon realised there are many benefits to a hot glue gun, included but not limited to: Traditional glues can take several minutes, and they can cause you to have to hold on to the item to keep the two surfaces together while the glue dries. With a hot melt adhesive the drying time is cut down to seconds, leaving you free to continue on with your next task. Hot melt adhesives are some of the cheapest on the market. This can be very helpful if you are looking to use a lot amount of it. The savings over time can be considerable. If the products or items you are looking to adhere will be in any way coming in contact with water or moisture, such as boxes for shipping food, hot melt adhesives are resistant to water, moisture and humidity. This gun comes with a large pack of 30 hot glue melt sticks. I thoroughly recommend if you do any form of DIY, you need this.

No more worries
I needed a hot glue gun in general but it worked out when I wanted to effectively stick an object to my mantel piece. Works very well and stops my worry for it falling down. Having purchased this for a very fair price considering it comes with a batch of glue and a very high quality gun, i think it's fair to say I highly recommend it.

Great glue gun
My first hot glue gun. After reading the reviews I decided to buy this one. I am not disappointed. It heats up quickly, it's well made and is very easy to use. I bought it because I have 2 kids under 6 and they are constantly breaking their toys. So far I have cleared a big backlog of broken jewelry cases, stuffed toys with buttons missing, school projects that have been broken and various other things. It has not failed yet. Me and the eldest daughter (5) also made a cardboard crown which she stuck absolutely everything on. Only annoying thing is the cable stops you putting the gun down on a flat surface but that is only because it's brand new and still kinked from being in the packaging.

Fantastic product.
Fantastic product. Heated up so quickly. I created some Reggio style Numeracy artwork for my Nursery class. I attached pebbles and stones to picture frame with a glass front panel. Worked so well. Didn't use much of the glue stick and got 6 frames completed. They were covered with stones and sticks. It also had no drip and the stand was good. The glue does get very hot use with caution. By the way I've only used it today. If there's any issues in the future I will update.

Great gun - check the glue
This is a very well made glue gun that melts very quickly and doesn't drip when not triggered, It can provide a high volume of melted glue which remains liquid for some time. The glue sticks provided seem to melt at a fairly low temperature, I put a piece of one of these and a piece of a Texet Cool Melt stick in an oven at 70 C and the supplied stick melted first. This is not a problem for me as I was looking for a "cool" adhesive but users should be aware that the supplied glue will melt in boiling water. In the attached picture, the piece on the left is the Texet cool melt and the pool on the right is the glue supplied.

Good Overall with an Obvious Flaw
I'm using this glue gun mainly to join together pieces I print with my 3D printer that I want to assemble to larger structures. It is also useful for making custom-sized cardboard boxes from large sheets of corrugated cardboard, which is very easy to do if you're patient enough to mark out, score and cut the shape you want. Pro's 1. Generally a good temperature can be achieved and quite quickly 2. Inexpensive 3. Very easy to operate Con's 1. The bent metal wire "stand" provided with this glue gun is completely incapable of supporting the gun and keeping it from falling over. If you want to use your gun over an extended period of time and then leave it to the side of your work-top, still hot, this will likely be an issue. The main reason the gun keeps falling over seems to be that the power cable, which is impressively chunky [and hopefully heat resistant!] contains enough "shape memory" in the plastic coating to literally flex and flip the heat gun off it's stand. 2. The on/off switch on the base of the handle is quite small and offers little resistance to being moved; I've found myself accidentally switching the gun off and not noticing, when I've brushed against the switch. 3. The "on" light in the base of the handle is a bit on the faint side and could do with being a bit brighter. Overall, this is a reasonable product for the price. It gets the job done and is easy to use. I would strongly recommend that "serious" [i.e. non-occasional] users invest in or build some form of desk-side or desk-top holder of their own, since the provided stand is simply not to be trusted.
