This paint mixer worked even better than I expected! It attached securely to my standard 3/8” drill and mixed everything quickly and evenly without creating a huge mess. I was impressed with how well it blended thicker material while keeping splatter to a minimum. The long shaft made it easy to reach the bottom of a 5-gallon bucket, so I didn’t have to stop and scrape the sides nearly as much. It feels sturdy, well made, and held up perfectly throughout the job. If you’re tackling any painting, epoxy, resin, or other DIY projects, this is a tool worth having. It saved me time, gave me a smooth, consistent mix, and made the whole process much easier. Excellent quality for the price—I would definitely buy it again!

Great paint stirrer. We used this in 5-gal buckets of thick concrete paint. When put in an electric drill, it does a good job and is easy to clean. We could not have done our recent job without it.

Works great in our 5 gallon paint bucket. Mixes perfectly. Great value, seems sturdy enough. It fit the 5 gallon paint bucket, will try 1 gallon next time.

Update: Tuesday, September 2, 2025…… I just went into a video that I couldn’t post and snapped four pictures of that over three year old paint. Look at how it’s mixing all the separated components back together, which is restoring the original substance known as black paint! 🎨 🎨🎨 This mixer attachment is 💯💯! I have some old 5 gal buckets of paint that i wanted to whip up so see if they were still useable. I needed a sturdy tool, which this is plenty heavy duty for the job. That being said it was not exactly what i was looking for. I spent alot of time reading reviews and product descriptions as there are SO many choices when it comes to a mixing tool for a 5 gallon bucket. This one was just a bit longer than most which i felt was important. It did fall just a bit short on the job of actually mixing the paint. I wanted a tool that would create a vortex and pull the paint from the bottom and bring it to the top hence the paint on top would be pulled to the bottom. The seller did tell me that this does indeed just that. This was not that tool. It worked but i would try something else next time. I feel i would need to go with something larger. This is only about 2.5 inches diameter and pretty much just stirred the paint in the general area so you need to move it up and down and side to side. With that it did a great job. I strongly suggest that you start at the TOP of the bucket and slowly work your way to the bottom, otherwise starting at the bottom you will get paint on the shaft and it will fly around everywhere as you pull the tool up. Easily cleans up if you rinse it off directly when you are done. Yes I do recommend this tool but i am hoping to find exactly what I have imagined.

This is great for premixing pool chemicals.

First things first. I purchased the 1 gallon mixer previously. I was absolutely thrilled with it--mixed the paint perfectly and cleanup was a breeze. I bought this one. Perfect mixing on both 2-gallon and 5-gallon buckets of paint. Again, very easy clean up as well (see picture below for post clean-up). No mess in mixing (just don't run it on a really high speed). This beats the *bleep* out of the mixing sticks.
