I have no issues with the materials used. However, the way the top zip is fitted does leave large gaps each end so under the 'for travelling' option I have given only 2/5 stars as it is going to let items fall out unless you are careful.Under 'durability' I have given 4/5. The canvas seems sturdy enough but I am not convinced about the closures at the front.'Sturdiness' only 2/5 stars. The impression I got from the pictures was that this bag has an internal stiffener and would to some extent free stand. However in the pictures that has evidently been achieved by placing something large, like a laptop, in the bag. On its own it simply flops. Would I carry a laptop in it? No, there is next to no padding and whilst the picture of the inside shows a neatly ordered bag as soon as you pick it up it slumps and everything instantly jumbles.Finally, and I do realise my mistake here, I assumed the straps and buckles at the front were functional rather than cosmetic, whereas they are only magnetic. The poppers on the 2 small front pockets are conversely really tight and I anticipate the force needed to open them will quickly wear the material, so the temptation is not to click them shut but that runs the risk if them spilling their contents.Overall the impression I formed from the description was that this was a semi-rigid, sturdy, secure bag, but that does not seem to be the case, so whilst it does look good I am slightly disappointed by the performance.

The delivery was surprisingly fast and as it arrived first thing that caught my attention was the different colour of the leather straps. The reddish brown colour of the bag itself is the same and it may actually look even better this way with the darker straps!Overall it seems sturdy and durable. I haven't had the chance to test it yet but the fabric is strong and seems rain resistant as promised. Will update if something happens with it. It is a bit smaller than it looked on photos, hence why the 1,5L soda bottle for scale in the picture. What surprised me pleasantly was the way how the shoulder strap can easily be adjusted and how it can be attached to belt as well to take load away from shoulder.Satisfied customer here! As in pics, although colours aren't very accurate on screen tbh. Went for Brown and ours is very choccy brown. That said all straps are leather as in pics. It appears well made and should last for years. Wanted for short in out flights and this is perfect size for overnight without wanting a complete change of gear. There are other bags on Amazon cheaper but people saying straps aren't leather or zips are weak. Mine is fine. My last one is 15 years old and well used and still going strong. This one will as well I am sure of it.

Lovely bag. Strong and a great size. Worth the buy.

I've had one of these bags before, they are a good quality bag, my only gripe is the stud fastenings on the front straps they are very difficult to close

Impressed with product, sadly sholder strap is not fully detachable, so returned for no quibble refund. Would use seller again and would have kept product is strap detachable
