Each individual giant chess piece has a base diameter of 4 to 4.5 inches and weighs between 4 to 6 ounces. The chess pieces are made of rugged, waterproof, and UV-resistant injection molded plastic. These are commercial grade game pieces and will stand up to years of abuse. They withstand the outdoor elements very well and will retain their color. They will work in the long run, but when you buy a king and a queen at 25 each, I expect better.

This is very nice looking (that's why I gave it a 2) but because it's hollow, I don't think that it is worth the $25 price.
