Good design, good price, and easy fitting
For some happy reason, this socket was £2.50 on Amazon when the exact same socket was also £7 on other pages, making this one particularly good value.The quality is good, and unlike some sockets that have overly complex design -- like needing to thread the cable through a hole in the cover before screwing to the terminals -- this block was very easy to wire up. The strain relief works well, and the hard rubberised case means it won't shatter or chip if dropped. The orange also makes it a bit easier to see than black.All-in-all, a good design, good price, and easy fitting, making it worth fives stars.

Useful extension idea
Why did you choose this product over others?:Bought to make an extension from the cable off a broken lawnmower. Great value, same colour as cable, durable, and easy to wire up!! Already used it and no problems

Cheap and Cheerful
Does the job. Easy to wire up. BTW some reviews have stated terminals other than earth are not marked. This is incorrect. All are marked correctly if you look closely. Rubber casing? I don't think so but seems robust enough to me.

As others have commented, this is hard plastic rather than rubber but it is good value for the price and is up to job I intend it for

Product description not helpful
I feel the product description is misleading to the extent, it can only be used with 3 core (E/N/L) wire lead and not 2 core. The sole reason for my order was to make an extension lead using a 5 metre 2 core lead and nothing within the description confirmed it would not be suitable!
