Great security and easy to install! This sliding glass door lock works perfectly! It was super easy to install and feels very sturdy. It gives me peace of mind knowing my door is extra secure, especially with kids at home. The design is simple but effective, and it blends in nicely with the frame. Highly recommend for anyone who wants extra safety for sliding doors!

Love this lock. It was super easy to install, happy the hardware that came with it worked. I use it on top of the sliding door to keep my kids from opening the door on their own. It is super secure and fits the door frame well. It took me maybe 10min to install and looks professionally done. They e tried to open the door when the lock is on and it didn’t budge.

This is a great lock if you have kids or just want some extra security in your door. Very easy to instal and durable.

Product looks clean, operates well, and is sturdy on its own. Very fast to install even though no instructions were included in the packaging. See listing for instructions but they're very basic. The way this has to install on a sliding glass door means it's being held in by only a few points on prettythin vinyl. It could probably be brie forced open if someone really tried. Reinforce the back of the plate and use some strong adhesive and this would actually be a decent security product. I just needed it to keep the lock out of reach of the kids so I'm happy with it.

The sliding door lock was easy to install and good quality. We appreciate the extra protection it provides for a good price. You have to confirm the best location for the installation (top or bottom) for any folks moving through the door.

Dangerous product, expensive lesson — AVOID AT ALL COST. I bought this sliding-door “child-safety” lock because keeping my toddler safe is priority #1. I followed EVERY step in the instructions to the letter — measured twice, used the exact screw locations they specify, and double-checked clearances before even attempting to install it. The first time we tried to put the screw into place, it created a pressure point that exploded my tempered glass panel. We’re talking a spider-web of shattered glass from top to bottom (see photos). My waterfront patio door now needs a $1,000+ replacement — all because a $22 gadget was engineered without the slightest regard for real-world tolerances. To make matters worse, because glass door replacements aren’t something you can schedule right away, my child ended up stepping on a piece of broken glass despite all my efforts to clean up. So instead of making our home safer, this “safety lock” directly caused the very thing I was trying to prevent: harm to my child. When I contacted the seller, their entire response was: “We can refund your purchase price. All warnings are already listed.” That’s it. No apology, no ownership, no offer to help — just a canned response and a $22 refund that doesn’t even begin to make up for the stress, danger, and cost this caused. Bottom line: • INSTALLATION WILL SHATTER YOUR GLASS DOOR. • Instructions give a false sense of security. • Customer service HIDES BEHIND DISCLAIMERS instead of doing the right thing. • Worst of all, your child could still get hurt. If you value your child’s safety — and your sliding door — do NOT buy this lock. Spend a little more on a well-designed, trusted product. I wish I had.

The slots in the metal bracket were too narrow for the sliding bolt/latch to fit. Basically, the parts they supplied don’t work together. No way to contact seller to get the correct part. UPDATE: within a day of posting the 1 star review the Seller offered and promptly processed the refund. Changed review to 3 stars.

Put in top left side of RH sliding patio door. Now unable to tilt and potentially get in. Good piece of mind and very easy install.

Order this after our old patio door lock stopped working. We installed it at the top of the door, very easy to do. Works like a charm and the best part my dog won’t accidentally step on it and lock us out like the old one.
