You can also say that it can be partially used as a UPS but when the mains is plugged in anything you connect to this battery will draw power from it not from the mains so it will discharge even on that scenario. Last thing on the positive side i liked also that they have included a few different cables. From the tech spec it uses a locking 4-pin Hirose connector, pin-4 = (+), pin-1 = (-). 10-18VDC. In theory if you could find an adapter cable then you could use the battery pack 12v supply, but tbh with the quality of kit you are powering it would be better to go for a better make of battery pack.
