Best Omega-3 For Your Health
Over time Iโve tried several different types of Omega-3 products, and this one has been the best Iโve found. I didnโt like the after-taste the others left, or the belching fishy taste they gave me. The Pure Alaska Omega-3 leaves no after-taste or causes a belching reaction. The produce is made with Alaskan salmon, which I feel is the highest quality you can find for taking Omega products. Iโve been using Pure Alaska Omega-3 for about five years now, and it has helped my overall health tremendously!

Great for overall health
When it comes to supporting overall health, omega-3 supplements are a go-to for many. The Pure Alaska Omega-3 Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil 1000mg offers a natural source of essential fatty acids derived from wild-caught salmon, and after incorporating it into my routine, Iโm ready to share my thoughts. Quality & Sourcing The standout feature of this product is its wild Alaskan salmon sourcing. Unlike many omega-3 supplements made from farmed fish or synthetic sources, this one is extracted from sustainably caught wild salmon. This means itโs not only better for the environment but also richer in naturally occurring omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, which are known to support heart, brain, and joint health. Dosage & Effectiveness Each softgel contains 1000mg of salmon oil, providing an adequate amount of omega-3s for daily wellness. Taking 1-2 softgels per day, as recommended, fits seamlessly into my routine. After a few weeks of use, I noticed improved joint comfort, sharper mental clarity, and a general sense of well-being, which are all benefits associated with omega-3 supplementation. Softgel Design The softgels are medium-sized and easy to swallow, with no unpleasant aftertaste or fishy burpsโa common complaint with other fish oil supplements. This is likely due to the oil's high purity and quality, as well as the encapsulation process. Packaging The bottle contains 210 softgels, offering a great value for the price. With a typical dose of one softgel per day, this product can last up to seven months, making it an economical choice for long-term supplementation. Pros -Natural, wild-caught source of omega-3s. -Sustainably sourced for eco-conscious consumers. -High purity and no fishy aftertaste. -Large count (210 softgels) for extended use. -Noticeable benefits to joint, heart, and brain health. Cons -Those seeking concentrated omega-3 content might find other supplements with higher EPA/DHA levels. -The softgels, while manageable, may still be large for some individuals. Verdict -The Pure Alaska Omega-3 Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil 1000mg is a high-quality, sustainable option for those looking to boost their omega-3 intake. Its natural formulation and eco-friendly sourcing make it a standout choice in a crowded market. Whether youโre new to fish oil supplements or seeking a better alternative, this product is worth considering. Rating: 4.7/5 Who Itโs Best For: Health-conscious individuals seeking a natural, high-quality omega-3 supplement.

Seems Good for Pet Use
Seems to be a great product, I alternate giving my two dogs 1 to 2 pills a day and 1 pill for the cat, I can definitely tell a difference in the softness of their fur when they have been taking the pills vs when they havenโt. I do puncture the catโs pill with a fork and squeeze it out onto his food. The dogs will just eat the pills if I put them in their food.

Good Enough for Our Cat :-)
The main reason we bought these salmon oil capsules was for our cat who has dandruff. Although my husband and I plan to take them too. I'd say that's pretty good justification for spending over $25 on a bottle of vitamins, if almost ever member of the family benefits :) Anyway, when the vet noticed our cat's coat was a bit rough and dandruffy, he recommending popping a fish oil into her food. We thought this was a great, cheap alternative to prescribed medication because we already had a bottle of fish oil at home -- lucky us! -- we thought. But at the time I wasn't well-researched in the fine subject of fish oil supplements, and definitely didn't realize that like everything else you consume, the source, the storage, and the freshness of the fish oil DOES matter. At least that's what I'm now reading everywhere. And it makes sense -- It's an oil AND fish product, so no wonder it tends to go rancid easily! We were feeding our little female cat the RegularBrand capsules we had in our medicine drawer. We placed a few drops in 1 of the approx 5 wet food cans that she and her brother share each day. It was definitely a struggle to get her to eat the food with the fish oil. We basically had to refuse her a new can of food until she took at least a few bites of the fishy concoction. Amazingly, there was a noticeable improvement in her coat! We were so happy -- but since all seemed well, and feeding the "vitamin can" was such a hassle, we let the fishy ritual die. Soon her coat was back to the way it was. Finally I realized that the quality of the supplements probably had something to do with her distaste. I did my research and eventually chose these. It's day 4 of feeding the new "vitamin can" and again we are happy :) But this time it's because she actually likes her food! She is a picky eater anyway, but with a mysterious substance mixed into her food, you can forget about it. And after being forced to eat rotten smelly old fish food, I don't blame her. Now she eats her food like the salmon oil is enhancing it! She is very particular, and if she isn't completely satisfied with what you put in front of her, she will walk away and wait for something better. But she immediately started vacuuming-up all 4 of the cans I drizzled with this stuff. Yay! I keep these capsules in the refrigerator so they'll stay as fresh as possible. I do hope they really are derived from wild salmon, because I hear that makes a difference. There IS a color difference between these capsules and the average value brand fish oil you see in supermarkets.
