I wish I had bought the larger size!
This cleaner easily removed a dark grease stain after several other cleanings products could not, this really worked and was easy to use. I would recommend using it outside or in a well-ventilated area.

Effective cleaner for sunbrella fabric
We have a custom Sunbrella bay window cushion that had grease stains from red velvet cupcakes that had been stolen off a table by a cute little mischievous dog. We tried spot cleaning and washing on delicate but the grease spots remained from the butter. I saw this product and figured might as well try it. It works! Removed 90% of the stains. This was months after the initial spill. Will be buying more to have on hand for any future spills or accidents.

Best Oil Stain Remover - Sunbrella Extract Oil Stain Remover
I have had a stain on my sofa for quite awhile and tried to get the stain out with several products with no luck. I looked on Amazon to see which stain remover was the best for oil stains and Sunbrella Extract Oil Stain Remover seemed to be the one with the best reviews. I tried it out on my sofa and it worked like magic. I definitely recommend this product if you have any problems with oil based stains. A great product!

Less than I hoped for
We ended up with some stains on our Sunbrella fabric umbrella from an unknown origin. The stains appeared to be oily in nature. We just are not certain what caused them. They are significant in size. While this spray seemed to lighten them slightly, the stains remain visible. The product is pricy for a 5 oz can which was barely enough to cover the stains once. The directions state you may need more than one application. There wasn't enough left to put on a second application after covering once.

Works Great...BUT
UPDATE: I tried to use this product on another stain and found out that the propellant escaped from the can so it was impossible to use. The product itself works great, but consider it as a single-use product. At its current price, it would be better to have your fabric professionally cleaned. I spilled olive on a chair that was upholstered with Sunbrella fabric. I first tried to put baking soda on the stain as this was the preferred remedy detailed in all my Google searches. Some of the olive oil came out but the majority did not. I decided to give the Sunbrella Extract Oil Stain Remover a try. I applied it, left it on until dry and vacuumed it up. The stain was gone. I challenged my wife to see where the stain was and she could not. This can saved me lots of headaches and calls to commercial upholstery cleaners near me.

Used with another product, lifted old oil stain!
We had a 6-month old cooking oil stain on our couch. After 3 applications of this product, it was still there, so I called Sunbrella. The agent suggested treating it with a product called Greased Lightening ($6), then trying another application of the Sunbrella Oil Remover. After 1 application of the Greased Lightening, the stain was gone! I don’t know if it was the Greased Lightening that ultimately solved it, or the combination or the two products. Bella Sunbrella
Must say this product is the real deal and i wish I took “before and after” photos. The stains I had were prominent and while Im sure there are similar products on Amazon, I decided to se Sunbrella’s own brand. Think of why you may of ordered Sunbrella fabric in the first place. If you went out of your way to do so, its because of their reputation and the fact that competing fabrics just dont exhibit the water repellant qualities or retain their color over the years. Anyhow, I honestly had low expectations for removing an olive oil stain from my light grey outdoor sofa. This stain was 2 weeks old and had baked in 90+ degree sun for the entire time. After seeing the results, I decided to use it on the opposite side of the cushion, which had similar spots but were 2 years old. Gone! This product goes on like a cryogenic powder and dries to a soft white talc in about 60 seconds. As directed, take a soft bristle brush and brush off the remaining talc. While it’s well known that if you dab some powder on a oil stain on a shirt, it can absorb the oil effectively. This is the same concept, only the results were much better. Highly recommend.
