As a law student in my fourth and final year of LLB Hons this book is great for preparation for interview assessments as well as written assignments as an undergraduate. This book is my go to for information to set out my legal arguments and has taught me the value of a good evidence based argument.

It really helped me learn how to find mistakes in an argument and how to invalidate arguments made by the opposition

This book provides poor practice for critical thinking tests. Authors need to consider adding more practice questions in later editions and also adding additional chapters explaining some theory around logical reasoning.

A very insightful book. I would very much recommend it. In addition, the book is well-presented and easy to read.

Wish I had this book in my youth, as iv been guilty of taking bits of information and jumping to conclusions with disappointing results. In my opinion the book is well structured encouraging you to examine all the information at hand to come to the logical conclusion, or alternatively stimulate emotional debate in the real world.
