I bought this specifically to use after a medium-strength algae peel (the kind that leaves your skin quite red, raw and peeling for a few days). From the moment I applied it, it felt incredibly soothing. The thick balm texture is rich but not greasy – it sinks in well without leaving a sticky film. The burning and stinging stopped almost immediately, and it kept my skin comfortable throughout the day and night. By day 2, the redness had calmed down noticeably, and by day 4 the peeling had slowed and the new skin underneath looked much smoother and less irritated. No crusting or tightness like I’ve had with other post-peel products. I love that it contains Panthenol (B5) and Madecassoside – they really do help with barrier repair and calming inflammation. I used it morning and night, and a little goes a long way – the 100ml tube will last ages. No fragrance, no irritation, and it’s safe for sensitive skin. I’ve been using this balm regularly over the past few days and the experience has been very positive. The texture is rich but not heavy, and it absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling. From the first applications, it feels calming on the skin and does what it claims in terms of soothing and repairing. Really great balm - I bought this to protect my facial skin in the winter months - I am outdoors person, and the wind and cold was stripping my skin, and my skin felt dry, raw and was red at the end of each day. I bought this to use as a protective barrier layer to protect from the wind and cold. It goes on quite thick and white, but it absorbs quickly, and it does perform very well. I did not experience the sore, raw, red skin when I used this for days outside in the wind and cold. I also have very sensitive skin - this did not irritate my skin at all and did not block pores, did not cause any spots. I highly rate this product for people with sensitive skin, who will be outside in the cold in winter for a few hours a day.

What is not to love? If you know LRP products then you know that they are superb quality made specifically for various skin types and needs. This is the balm that is good for everything and I wouldn't be without it. I use it on my face in winter and it is so moisturising and luxurious on my skin. It's a thick cream (balm) that will drag your skin if you don't warm it and apply properly, once on it will feed and nurture your dry, weatherbeaten, central heating battered skin ! If you don't like thick creams, you'll hate this. it has many uses, not just for face but all areas where you need extra moisture; hands, elbows, knees etc. Keep a small one in your bag for emergencies - and because it's LRP you know it's gentle and kind for all skin types, even babies.

I have dry skin and bought Cicaplast after reading many positive reviews. I’ve tried numerous moisturisers in the past, but most of them made my skin feel even drier. This balm was a pleasant surprise. I use it once or twice a day depending on the need. It has a slightly oily consistency, so you only need a small amount, otherwise it can leave your skin greasy with a noticeable white cast. That said, it’s a repair balm, not a regular moisturiser, so a bit of greasiness is expected and even helpful for barrier protection. It makes my skin feel soft and soothed without clogging my pores. One thing to note: the packaging advises not to apply it around the eye contour area, so I’ve avoided that. Overall, it’s a great product for calming and restoring dry, irritated skin; just be mindful of how much you use.

This is an excellent product. My skin was burning and itchy after an adverse reaction to retinol. None of my normal creams helped so I ordered this in desperation as it is recommended to use after chemical peels. There was an immediate soothing effect, and after applying overnight the redness has reduced significantly and my skin feels less inflamed. It's quite thick, but it mostly sinks in after a few minutes, so it doesn't feel too greasy. I'm going to keep using it for a month to restore my skin barrier.

I have combination skin (oily t zone and dry cheeks and chin) and I have some long term acne scarring. I used a pea sized amount of this at night and it's perfect for my skin. It's not greasy and doesn't make my skin oily but it definitely moisturises. A little bit goes a long way so you really don't need to use much. I used a light weight moisturiser with SPF for the day, as I think this would be too heavy for during the day. I think this is great value for money and after a few months have noticed a better quality in my skin, it's definitely improved my skin barrier.

My daughter is currently under a dermatologist for acne treatment, and while it’s helped the acne itself, her skin has become incredibly dry and patchy. She was told she could still wear makeup, but with the mix of dry and oily areas it just didn’t sit properly, it either looked crusty or slid off in places. A friend recommended this (who had been through similar treatment), and honestly, it’s been a game changer for her. Not only does her makeup now sit properly and stay on, her skin actually looks much healthier underneath - more hydrated, smoother, and with far less redness. Even the overall texture has improved, and her pitting/scarring looks noticeably softer. It’s rare to find something that works both as a skincare product and as a base under makeup, but this really does both, it’s excellent! Price-wise it’s the same as in the shops, but having it on Prime is really convenient. Highly recommend, especially if you’re dealing with dry skin from acne treatments.

Soffro di dermatite esfoliativa e questa crema è diventata per me un vero e proprio trattamento di supporto alla rigenerazione cutanea. La consistenza è molto pastosa e corposa, decisamente più densa rispetto a una crema tradizionale. Proprio per questo motivo va applicata con calma, senza massaggiare in modo aggressivo. Una volta stesa, crea una sorta di film protettivo sulla pelle. Quando la pelle “viva”, lesionata e irritata inizia finalmente a rigenerarsi, si forma una leggera pellicina superficiale: è importantissimo non rimuoverla, perché fa parte del processo di guarigione. Lasciandola agire, giorno dopo giorno, si nota una rigenerazione visibile della pelle lesa, che appare progressivamente più sana, compatta e meno arrossata. Uno degli aspetti che ho apprezzato di più è che non brucia assolutamente, nemmeno sulle zone più compromesse. Al contrario, dona sollievo immediato, calma la sensazione di pelle che tira e riduce il fastidio. È uno di quei prodotti che si “sentono lavorare” in modo delicato ma efficace. Io la utilizzo sempre dopo la doccia, quando la pelle è più sensibile, e la applico in particolare sulle zone critiche del viso, dove la dermatite tende a manifestarsi con maggiore intensità. La crema aiuta a mantenere l’idratazione, protegge la barriera cutanea e accompagna la pelle nel suo naturale processo di riparazione. In conclusione, Cicaplast Baume B5 è molto più di una semplice crema: è un vero supporto per chi ha una pelle fragile, lesionata o in fase di rigenerazione. Per me è diventata irrinunciabile, soprattutto nei periodi più difficili per la mia pelle. 💙 Un prodotto eccellente, affidabile e altamente lenitivo. Non brucia, dà sollievo e aiuta davvero la pelle a riprendersi. La consiglio senza esitazioni a chi soffre di dermatiti o ha bisogno di una crema riparatrice efficace.
