Very strong lavender.
Strong aroma, which I suppose is the idea. Compact. Secure screw down lid. Thank you.

It doesn't work
Well ignored by little flying pests... unfortunately it doesn't work.

Brilliant anti-midge candle
Just back from a week camping in the Welsh valleys, midge heaven near a river. Clouds of the blasted things, plus loads of wasps. We have a bell tent and put the candle in the middle of the table in the tent every evening to deter insects from coming inside. Then blew it out when we went to bed. It worked great - no one was bitten overnight and as an added bonus, our tent smelled a lot nicer than it usually does after a week!

Actually works
Used this in Scotland in height of the midgie season. I was surprised it actually works so well! I was getting bitten quite a lot, once I lit the candle they all disappeared within a few minutes. It works in a 2 metre radius so make sure you're sitting right next to it. It smells really nice, Only downside is that it is pretty small would be nice if it was bigger, so you could get a few uses out of it.
