Can only be cold water sterilised, which is no problem. It measures 5ml fine on the large scale markings (I had no need to use the minor 0.5ml markings). We purchased to use with Woodward's Gripe Water, but the bottle adaptor does not seem to quite fit and the body of the syringe is too wide to put directly in the bottle; so we pour some in to the bottle cap, then draw up into the syringe from there. The syringe is nicely rounded, so no hard edges for babies mouth. The syringe plunger is a little stiff (to be expected when new) but it does allow for a slow dosing into the mouth. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for working with children but has other uses too *by J***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2017* Great item for dispensing medicine to a baby, especially a wriggling or tossing about baby. It can also be used as a general measuring device e.g. when a recipe requires quite a small amount of a liquid ingredient.
