Total Dopamine Detox in 7 Easy Steps: Become the Master of Your Brain to Quit Your Phone Addiction, Porn Addiction, or Manage Your ADHD [Giroux, Felix] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Total Dopamine Detox in 7 Easy Steps: Become the Master of Your Brain to Quit Your Phone Addiction, Porn Addiction, or Manage Your ADHD Review: Addictive, action-oriented authoring AFFIRMED!!! - I’m stunned by this addictively satisfying read from Felix Giroux. I was provided with great information and guidance on how to perceive dopamine and the science of dopamine dependency. While I found all of the information super helpful—I notice—that excruciating attention has been paid to the details delivered in this short—less than 150 pages—read. Chapters are broken down in a clear, sequential order; ranging from obvious: ‘dopamine and it’s role’; ‘common dopamine addiction activities’, as well as the titular ‘dopamine detox’. I really appreciate the effort to put all of the contained value right up front before I’ve even had the chance to dive in. IMO, this book really needs to reach more people as spending time with an experienced counselor or mentor would easily cost thousands—for far less—and this book provides experienced, expert, step-by-step, hand-holding guidance—of equal or greater value—for the a fraction of the investment. As a father, business owner and someone who seeks to master my own mental health habits, this is the perfectly clear guide and companion on this lifelong journey. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Review: May fit to most addictions - Dopamine is often a deeper reason behind many addictions. It’s like a drug. We enjoy it. Next time we need more dopamine, or in other words, more addiction, and the spiral starts to increase. This book is a guide to release from this blind root. The author points it out very well and does not stop at the surface or apparent causes but goes deep. Sometimes very deep, but this is the way out. I recommend the book to all addictive, as dopamine may be their root cause as well.

There are no seven steps outlined herein
It's not a bad read. Good general advice on striking a healthy balance and maintaining yourself. It tends to be repetitive and could have benefitted from a closer proof read. I thought it would be more informative.

Clickbat Title with No Meaningful Substance
Between the clickbait title and the lack of tangible steps. Safe yourself the time and money and watch a YouTube video about the dopamine cycle.

Potentially Complex Topic Broken Down Well
This whole topic can get quite involved, if some of the literature I've come across is any indeciateion. However, in this book the author has taken an approach that will suit readers at all levels. The book goes through the basic building blocks to understanding dopermine, as well as associated and pheriphal issues. It then takes the reader into the more complex levels of understanding. Recommended for readers at all levels.

A great how to book
There many sorts of things that rob of us of our time and our personalities. To the point where they become addictive. This book breaks it down into stages how to stop these things that take our time and brings you back to life.
