Concern is its too tall.** A: Traps can be 2 to 5 inches. You must prime the trap with water. **Q: What kind of glue do you use on that clear tubing? I have pvc cement and cpvc cement** A: No glue, these are friction fit for condensate lines only (no pressure in the line). Friction fit allows disassembly when dirty to clean out the algae and back gunk. Clear tubing lets you see clogs. Caps also assist in getting to corners and curves. **Q: What kind of glue do you use on that by clear tubing? I have pvc cement and cpvc cement** A: I used pvc glue on white pipe itself and no glue on the clear tube so it could be removed for easy cleaning **Q: I have limited space. How far will this stick out, what is the overall dimensions?** A: Well the height I=of the trap is about 7" and the width is variable. The 3 pieces are not glued, you glue them yourself after a dry fit. The variable is the fact that you can configure them . In my case, the "U" portion of the trap is at approx a 45 degree angle front to back (meaning the lower piece sits somewhat behind the higher end). In this configuration it's about 7" wide. Of course you could go the full 90 degrees to make it even more narrow.
