This book is worth it. Great info
Worth buying if you love ACNH. Includes everything you’d ever want to know. I bought for my 9-yr old son. We play the game together and he loves it. He has worn this book out.. read it cover to cover and still re reads certain sections

What a book!
I'm a late purchaser of the Nintendo Switch Lite (December 2022). Because I didn't realize a new volume was imminent, I purchased the first guide. It's been useful, though I confess: I didn't read it from cover to cover, before jumping into Animal Crossing (January). Had I done so, I might have made a few better decisions, BUT it might have actually caused me to miss out on the trial and error. I decided I wasn't happy with the way my original island was progressing (I didn't like some of our island geography, either). So, I deleted my data and started a new island. I kept the first guide a little closer to hand, after that. The first book was awkward for me to browse, at times, due to weight and size. This one is even more so, but at least it's a hardcover (I can grasp it better). However, I don't think the shipping weight--just over five pounds--is an exaggeration. The contents of both volumes are extremely well thought out. For the most part, they are also exceptionally well written. There are a few minor areas, where I think the text could be improved. But as a global society, we're all becoming less able to express ourselves correctly, using written English (even if it's our native language). I purchased this because I haven't started the DLC yet, and thought it would useful. The tables, checklists, and inventory catalogs make it well worth purchasing. This complete edition was painful, because I'm on a fixed income. This was a big expense. Fortunately, I had pre-ordered and the billing price was actually $40 for me. Since I've finished the main storyline out, earning the K.K. Slider appearances and paid out for maximum house size, as well as maximum storage size... I waffled for quite a while. I think I'm going to be glad I ordered it, once I talk myself into actually getting started with the DLC. My naughty little villagers and the Nintendo balloon-packing, tree-gifting, and retail tanuki deities just keep giving me duplicate recipes items. Maybe some absence will make my little villagers decide new recipes and items would be a good idea. LolAs I said before, the tables, checklists, and inventory catalogs are amazing. I wish purchasers of the printed book could obtain the same items from the publisher in digital form. Especially if it was in a format that could support using the checklists on digital devices. The book is very awkward to handle, while going through storage inventory or the Nook Phone's inventory app. It's just hard to juggle the guide and my Switch Lite.I'm pleased with my purchase. If you're just starting your Animal Crossing New Horizons adventure, and may also be working through the downloadable content, buy this new edition (over the original). If, for some reason, the DLC doesn't interest you or you can't ever foresee being able to get it... The other edition is still a good resource, but... You may miss out on updated information from service releases... Since I'm a newer player, I'm not sure how much the game changed with updates. I only remember ever looking for information that wasn't in the other edition once... I swear I saw something about being able to move a villager into your house, as a roommate. However, I never found it anywhere (even online). I swear it had an a picture of an in-game human serving a villager cupcakes. But... Well, you might just want to go with this shiny new book. It's really up to you.

Animal crossing fan must have
This book has every combination of everything you could possibly want from your flowers to furniture upgrades. And furniture, design and color options with Cyrus. It's an amazing book. It is fun just to look through to see all of the combinations, but super helpful with the game.

I'll Want Another Copy!
This is a beautiful book. It just looks happy. Soooo much information. I'm already finding it extremely helpful. I have only had this a few weeks, struggling at first with how heavy this is. It's not a book you can curl up in your favorite space and casually meander through. This book is as heavy as any college textbook. Get out the highlighters and the post-it flags! I wish it wasn't a true hardcover but had a flexible cover. I see there is another book listed here on AMZ available that is "paperback" and I'm so very tempted to get that one as well just so I don't have to deal with the hardcover of this one. Both these books have really great reviews. Honestly, I think I meant to order the paperback but put this in my cart instead. This will be very useful in actually planning my home and island because I can see what will be available as the game progresses. This would make a great gift for any Animal Crossing game enthusiast. I count seven in my family alone. You won't be disappointed!
