I was a little skeptical when I ordered this. I was looking for something to elevate the fire in the deep fire rings that they have at Doheny Beach CG. I like to be able to see the flames while sitting around the fire, and the metal pits they have here are so deep you can't enjoy the flames. The item assembled very easily, held the wait of many good size pieces of firewood and cleaned up easily the next day. The mesh net is very well made and looks like it should last a while.

Bought because the price was right. It works perfectly for keeping a small fire raised for airflow. When paired with a fire resistance blanket, you won't have scorched grass. Great for low impact camping.

Are used it for the first time this past weekend. The weather outside was perfect in the evening, it was dry and cool. Needed to take care of the heat from the fire itself. Punctured holes in the mesh. Hot ashes, then fell onto the bricks underneath. Not very durable!

Tested this out on Halloween was skeptical at first but after testing it, I highly recommend. Set up at first was puzzling since there were no directions but still easy to figure out once you get pieces laid out. Mesh screen surprisingly larger than I expected and surprisingly stays cool to the touch on the outer edges. This would be great for camping or the beach.

Great for what it is. A cheap way to have a nice campfire when needed. Great airflow, and the product packs away neatly. Great value!

I was skeptical at first, but after using these things many times and seeing how well things burn and the minimal impact that they have on the ground, I love them!

Nice "toy" firepit when first used. Probably dangerous around children - Too easily tipped with a bump.The mesh seemed ideal but holes quickly developed under small fires. No large logs, no magnesium, no lighter fluid. 8 to 10-inch long, 3-4 inch wide pieces of wood stacked no more than 6-8 inches high.So sad. This would be nice but the melting mesh is a deal killer. I fear this happens far more often than it is reported.

This is a great collapsible grill/heat proof table! A must have for campers!!
