I started using this for my small dog as kidney support, and so far I’m happy with it. It’s not a miracle overnight product, but with consistent use I’ve noticed better energy and more stable appetite. My dog tolerates it well and has no side effects. I would recommend using it consistently and being patient to see results.

Purchased AminAvast after researching kidney support for my 19 yr old cat. She was urinating frequently and at greater volume than normal, resulting in large and infrequent bowel movements due to most of her fluid intake being diverted to her kidneys. We had tried two other renal remedies with limited success as she would not eat her food when added. With the contents of one AminoVast capsule mixed in wet food with a few drops of water to dissolve the powder she will eat without hesitation. Have been using for about a month, giving one capsule daily, for 7-8 lb cat. Within 2 weeks, noticed her bowel movements more normal and frequent, and her urination decreased. She seems to feel better overall and her appetite is better. A bit pricey, but it's helping and will continue to use.

Very good product. Has helped my cat with CKD. Improved his appetite and movement. I give this to both of my older cats to help with their overall kidney function so I am using 6 capsules each day. The product is somewhat expensive at this daily dosage for the 2 cats but their overall health is worth the cost. Both cats are doing well. Easy to administer. One of my cats is extremely picky and has to smell any food before he will eat it. I dissolve the capsule contents in a small amount of one of his favorite wet treats and he gobbles it up without a prolonged smelling session. The other cat easily eats any really wet treat so she is easy to dose. I will definitely keep using this product.

Works as Expected

My cat had no problem eating this when mixed with wet food. I believe it helped him but it's hard for me to be 100% certain. That's because vet visits were difficult with that cat so the blood tests that would confirm this supplement's efficacy were not conducted. I provided him with subcutaneous saline injections to sustain his kidneys. That will always be the most effective way to control kidney disease. Nonetheless, this supplement certainly did not hurt and I'm under the impression that it probably was helpful.

My cat was diagnosed with kidney failure years ago, on a whim I decided to try this to see if it improved anything. Not only has it improved her energy levels, but her appetite as well! My elderly cat is almost 20 now and still plays and stalks around the house like a kitten. A complete 180° shift in her, I’m more than happy to continue purchasing this for her as she enjoys her twilight years. I used to mix it in to her food, but she gets picky sometimes so now I just open a capsule and dissolve it in water and she licks it from a syringe without any fight at all. I’ve tried a lot of different supplements for her condition and this has shown the most improvement.

This product is great. I have a 19 year old Snowshoe cat with kidney issues. The vet gave Jin a year to live. That was 19 months ago. We put one capsule (pulled apart and the powder mixed in food).in the morning and evening. In the evening we also ad a liquid vitamin B-12. He is active, eats well, not sick but drinks a lot of water. We attribute his health to Aminavast. We also give him a water IV every other day…probably 100cc….then a Fancy Feast treat. He has no issue with IV..about 5 minutes.

It's not palatable, our cat wouldn't eat his favourite food if it's mixed in it.

My cat has kidney issues and this amino acid supplement somehow piques his interest in eating, even though it doesn't seem to be flavoured in any way. My cat is on a variety of powders and drops but when I ran out of this supplement he did seem to go downhill a bit in the time that he didn't have it. His appetite was not as good and he didn't seem as active when he wasn't taking it. It is pricey, but I have started to give my 7.5 pound cat half of the contents of a capsule in the morning and half in the evening and that seems to be a good dose for him, even if it is half the recommended amount. If your cat is quite thin, it may be a good dose for him/her as well.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour mon chat qui souffre d'insuffisance rénale grade 3. Comme le chat requiert des acides aminés dans son alimentation, ce produit répond à ce besoin. Les résultats sont à venir... Une chose est certaine, ce produit lui fera plus de bien que de mal, en étant consciente que cette maladie finira par l'emporter.

It's only been a few days so dont know if it's helping or not but my cat doesnt mind the taste. It's easy-to-use. But the price is wow. My cat weighs 26lbs so I'm supposed to give him 4 pills a day. If I did that it would be over $200 a month!! I cant afford that at all so I am trying 1pill a day. I Love my cat so much but I just don't have that. I gave up food for myself just to get them.
