I sold a high dollar item for cash-only pick up. Decided to play it safe and check the bills one by one because I didnt want to even think about the possibly of getting paid with counterfeit money. I wish I felt I could trust people more thanI do, but times have changed.This pen worked perfectly (after being tested on bills directly from the bank) and its easy to tell if paper money is real. Glad I got this because it made the sale of the item comfortable for both parties and removed any doubts I had about getting scammed.Highly recommend this product!! Stores don't carry this item for a decent price or even have it in stock, so it was Amazon to the resuce, with the pen arriving in plenty of time.

They work well. Would have liked for them to be a bit darker but they work.

The other day at Walmart a man at self check out asked me to pay for his stuff on my card and that he had cash for me (about 100 bucks). He asked me because he said he didn't realize the self check out was card only. The line was backed up and I couldn't say no. I felt great that I helped him and he gave me an additional 10 Dollars for my trouble, thanked me, and we parted ways. When I got to my car I had a bad feeling and for some reason the money felt "fake" to me (maybe because i very rarely carry cash). I was scared to use the cash in case it was fake and went to the store to get one of these pens but they were out so I ordered here on Amazon and just waited to test. All the cash he gave was legit and clearly I was just paranoid but none the less I have a peace of mind to check in the future again when needed.

This works perfect. I used to be a head teller for 7 years and I could easily feelThe difference if it wasn't real bills. Which people do bring in to deposit not knowing that it's not real. Which a older man had a twenty dollar bill and it looked real and old and in bad shape so I don't know how long this was in circulation or maybe that's how they made it back then. But right when I started counting the twenty stopped me every time cuz the texture was off. Well that said, this was a long time ago. I started in the late 90s being a teller so that's a long time. Well I recently got a fifty and for the first time I couldn't tell. I kept feeling the texture plus the ATM wouldn't take it and it was a brand new bill. Well I bought the pen to make sure before contacting my old boss and letting him know that his credit union gave it out. I'm glad i waited to call cuz it was real. I just lost my touch as a teller. So if your questioning a bill, but this don't try to just give it away and have it on someone else's shoulder. Like the older man mentioned. It's really cheap and always helpful.
