I got this for my wife to use. I had previously bought her one from a local German discount chain in their middle isle weekly offers and intended to give this to a neighbour who was going on holiday to Turkey. When it arrived I tested it to see if it was any good and was delighted to see that it was better and stronger than the I had bought previously. Bottom line, it's great at moving the air in 3 speeds, isn't too big and easy to pack away, and the neighbour got the middle isle one and my wife is keeping this one.

The fan is noisier than I expected from reading other reviews, it would definitely be annoying in a quiet open-plan office and pretty noticeable if you were trying to sleep. But the fan strength is impressive, even the low speed is a bit too strong for me when close to my face such as hung around the neck, and the medium and high speeds are very strong. The fan feels a bit heavy to be comfortable around my neck but I suppose if I were really hot then it would be worth it. The neck cord is detachable via little clips which is convenient.

3 diff speeds, 3rd speed I was surprised how powerful it was, especially for a hand held fan. Lasted a good amount of time between charges. Think ill purchase another as handy for kids who sit in back of car on hot days and can't feel full effects of the a/c straight away.

I bought this for work as we have no air con and its unbearable when we have the odd mini heatwave, this has good battery life, it has a stand which is sturdy and its very portable, you can charge it, I work a 10 hr day this lasted for 9 hrs, with me recharging it for 30 mins through the day, if your a woman of a certain age, this is perfect for those awful hot flushes too but saying that a lot of the younger women I work with have bought these too, I also pop it in my bag when it's hot its a life saver in hot weather, the only dowside side it doesn't have any indication when it's going to need recharging, it will just stop but as said before does have a very long running time.
