Probably not. My eight-year-old male Great Dane (Odin) was recently diagnosed with early stage renal disease. So he is now on a renal diet, and his favorite treats were no longer allowed. Although he enjoyed things like Watermelon - he was craving crunch. He didn't understand why he could no longer have his old faves, and that broke my heart.I tried a $25 box of treats. Although they are probably great for a smaller animal, Odin just wasn't happy since they were slightly larger than a postage stamp. I continued my search and stumbled across Mattie's treats and gave them a try. First, their price point is awesome. Second - who can resist a heart-shaped treat?! Not this girl. Most importantly, Odin LOVES them, and he is definitely a happy camper again, happily crunching on his new favorite. And if YOU have a smaller pup - the treats can be broken into smaller pieces (not an issue in my house).I reached out to Mattie's owners, expressing appreciation for their amazing product.
