The best night ointment. I have Severe Dry Eye Syndrome, I've tried every eye drop,gel, ointment, going - from basic carbomer to hyaluronic formulas, specialist products direct from the manufacturer, and prescription treatments. Generally, I find drops too thin and drying, gels too readily dessicating, causing sharp painful flakey residue, and have only found relief using soft white paraffin/lanolin formula ointments - but they're greasy, and it takes a long while for vision to clear of the misty, opaque veil caused by the ointment.This product is different. It feels like halfway between a Gel and an Ointment. It's lovely and smooth and soothing, like an ointment... Yet it's also hydrating, not merely lubricating. Ive found that, 8 hours after using at bedtime, ive got actual wetness in my eyes - real tears! That hasn't happened spontaneously for years ... Usually, if I want tears, I have to make myself yawn or sneeze. They don't appear any other way.So, I'm very glad I gave this one a try - especially as it's reasonably priced, and a single tube is on Prime delivery. Excellent purchase, I recommend! :)

I find this gel very thick and comfortable for night use. Once used its hard to see properly so bed time use only I guess. It's very comforting and has helped me a great deal with problem eye dryness. Much better than most on market. However the price has skyrocketed and I will no longer buy it.

I bought this to replace Hylo Night which is no longer available. It is very similar, apart from a very slight chemical smell. I use last thing before I go to bed for dry eyes. It does the job fine. Prefer Hylo but this is a satisfactory alternative.

I get very dry eyes at night, so thought I'd give this a try.It's quite hard to apply, as when you squeeze it into your eye, even if you do it they way it says, you can pull the gel out of your eye. It is also quite thick and greasy so once you get it in, you can't see very well at all (just as well it's for when you go to bed, right?). It does feel quite moisturising, although I don't feel it worked as well as other liquid dry eye formulas such as Hycosan Intense, which is my go-to now. I also feel as though it can be a bit aggravating having it in your eye. Like I can feel that I've put it in. Probably won't buy it again.

My husband has to use this type of eye cream every night due to severe dryness from scar tissue after a car accident. This is very good and easy to use.

This is used for dry eye syndrome as a lubricant for night time use. This is not easy to use when applying by oneself. The tubes often have air pockets and can be very wasteful but you can roll them up to get maximum content so not always good value for money
