Transformers Top Gun 8 Inch Action Figure Collaborative Series - Maverick Version 2

Oh man why was this conjoined F14 that combined both the old style Transformers and Robotech Valkarie so good? It is so good. It takes a bit to figure out a few rotations to get it into and out of the two forms but once you do, they are awesome. The plastics are find. They are not translucent unless you hold it up to a light and they aren't flimsy either. It looks every part as an F14 and cool as a robot.

I was always partial to jet transformers growing up. That was 35 years ago. I bought this for my son and it’s the best jet transformer out there. Sure it’s a mashup toy and won’t really match up to a show or movie, but the toy is cool. In jet mode it’s hard to know it’s not just a toy jet. Very nice design, I wish I had one as a kid.

Good product, a bit smaller than anticipated

The figure feels great, has excellent articulation, a pretty memorable transformation and a cool Macross-inspired design. But gosh, that grey plastic really does make it look kinda cheap. If you aren't already aware of the semi- transparent plastic on this figure, let this be your first warning. Don't be fully alarmed, this figure really is solid when transformed in both modes, but I don't know how else to describe it: it just looks a bit cheap. Maybe don't display it next to a window or in front of harsh lighting Oh, and it's a crossover figure with Top Gun, I guess that's the real main selling point of this figure. If you or someone you know is a fan of Top Gun and/or Transformers, this is a pretty great pickup for you or them

Okay I was pretty excited to give this to my son for his birthday. It did not disappoint. It’s a little tricky to learn how to transform it at first but once you do it a couple of times it makes sense. If you or your child like fighter jets and/or transformers, this will be a huge hit.

Know that your kid will love this..!

This item is the re-release of the figure from 2022 and does NOT come with the alternate hands or the volleyball! If you want the original version with the extras, look for the 2020 version!
