The bottle states that the oil is useful for "face, skin, hair, and nails". There is no dropper included so I applied the oil with a finger to my face and lips. Some of the oil absorbed into the skin but there is also some oil left on the surface. When applied to my arms, they feel well oiled but do not appear oily and shiny so that's a plus for me. Marula oil can be derived from the nuts, seeds, or fruit of the Marula tree and this product does not state the exact source, only that it is pure, unrefined, and cold pressed.
