This blanket is super soft even after washing and drying. I washed it on delicate/gentle with cold water and dried it on the “cool down” section of the dryer. (Our dryer is older than the mountains, so the “cool down” is at the end of the “more dry” option. I took the blanket out of the dryer and shook it out every few minutes and then put it back in so that it could dry evenly without melting the fibers.) Drying time was quick. Easy to wash.I got the king size (pictured) and the throw size (navy blue in corner of picture) and they are consistent with their thickness and softness. Though they don’t weigh the same, their weight is that of a quality blanket.We took them camping last weekend for added warmth and ended up waking up with only the blankets covering us, as we’d slithered out of our sleeping bags at some point in the middle of the night. We woke up because of the crows, not because we were cold.The color saturation is true to the photos. I’d say they have a jewel tone in terms of vibrancy.They lay/gather similar to a well loved quilt. I don’t know how else to describe it, other than to say it’s/they’re not super light-weight and airy so that you cant tell you’ve got a blanket/throw on you (like a comforter.)There was no smell coming out of the packaging as well as no shedding before or after washing/drying.This has been my best blanket buy so far. My sis-in-law got me a super nice throw for Christmas last year and I’ve been on the hunt for something of similar thickness/weight/quality in a larger size ever since.. I ‘kissed a lot of frogs’ before I found this and have made other blanket purchases since that don’t hold a candle to these blankets.They are worth the price for sure.I think I’ll be buying more to give as Christmas gifts this year. Like, to everyone I’ve ever met.. hahaI cannot say enough how great these are.Also cat approved ♥️

I got this blanket as a gift for my bf. It is quality made. Very soft, very warm, and has a good weight to it. Perfect cozy blanket for fall and winter. Worth the money!

I LOVE THIS BLANKET! I compared it with 4 other brands. This one boasts 500gsm (grams per square meter), while the others were only 300-350gsm. Even without putting them on a scale to compare their weight, it was immediately apparent that this one has a more dense pile than the others. It has a thicker, more substantial feel and is incredibly soft! It feels so comforting on my skin that I like to roll up in it totally naked! While it is comparatively heavier than similar blankets of other brands, it is not heavy like a quilt -yet it is wonderfully warm! Another feature making this blanket higher quality is that the edges are finished with a color-matched fuzzy binding (velour?) sewn onto them... most of the other brands are made so that the blanket fabric is merely folded back over itself on the edges and stitched down, similar to the hem on a pair of pants (no binding). I don't understand why some sellers refer to this blanket fabric as "flannel" -it certainly is Not flannel. In fabric stores I believe they call this "minky" and it does look/feel like faux fur (only softer). It's plush on both sides. Flannel is much thinner/flatter. In comparison to this blanket fabric, flannel is barely fuzzy. Flannel is a woven fabric that is brushed with wire bristles to yield a fiber fuzz on the surface, but that fuzz is minuscule compared to the plush pile on this minky-feeling blanket. Get yourself one -you won't regret it!

Perfect! Cuddly soft and warm. Heavier than a throw but not so heavy it landslides off the bed. I absolutely love this blanket. Mine had no smell and doesn't seem to shed that I've noticed.

Not too light, not real heavy great feel

I purchased this blanket twice. The first purchase was lovely. Heavy, thick plush. My granddaughter loved it's weight and warmth. The 2nd time I bought it, it was not so heavy and plush, and is no warmer than a fleece throw I've had for 6 years and washed 150 times. So I'm disappointed that the quality of the blanket seems to have taken a dive.

Bought this for our cold winter nights and it nice and thick. Washed it, put it on the bed and just what was needed. If you need a heavier blanket, this is a good one.

Awesome quality, the hem is thick and proper. Exact colour as shown (CANARY YELLOW) I will come back and do an update if I find any problems over the next day or two. I bought 2 (yellow,brown) at the same time, brown going to be a day later, and both are twin size. I would recommend if the price stays at 66.00 or $10 lower. Brown arrived day later. One side appears at quick glance a shade lighter brown but dark and not as smooth looking as the other side, it looks a tiny bit like fine wooly texture somewhat, but isn't. The main side of the blanket with the name tag sewn into it is shiny dark as shown in the picture and you can see your hand marks on it more so than the faded look to the other side. I do recommendd if it doesn't go above $66.00 as I paid May 2024, but fair price would be $55 in my opnion.
