Perfect controller for my LiFePO4 battery
I upgraded the battery in my nearly 40-year-old solar battery system at my off-grid cabin from lead-acid to LiFePO4, having gotten tired of replacing the lead-acid batteries every three to four years. With the change in battery type I also had to change the charge controller. I'll spare the details of a few other controllers I tried and finally bought what I should have in the first place, this LiTime 30A MPPT charge controller. This controller was easy to install and configure. The Bluetooth interface, which other suppliers offer as an option and charge extra for, was included and that was an added bonus for collecting data on the use and performance of my system. The companion free app installed easily on my Android tablet and is intuitive to use, though there are a few humorous "Chinglish" messages that appear. e.g. "Disconnected successed" comes up when you close out of the interface for the controller. The attached photos are of the controller installed in the load center of my system and a screen shot from the Bluetooth app on my tablet at the end of the season just before I shut everything down to close up for the winter. The discharge amp hours are not entirely accurate because I do not run the entire load of my cabin through the controller, that comes directly off the battery. I have a composting toilet with electric fans which I operate through the controller when we are away so the controller will shut those down if there would be some failure in the solar array or a very extended stretch of bad weather that would prevent the battery from charging enough. This controller has made my system almost completely hands-off in terms of day-to-day operation. With lead-acid batteries, especially late in the season, I had to constantly monitor the battery voltage and charge state because the reduced full sun time on my array at that time of year. This controller and the LiFePO4 battery just worked.

Well made and works perfectly
Much larger than your typical controller but very well made and looks great as well. Simple to understand and the digital display is easy to read. The Bluetooth app is a nice feature so you can keep tabs on the progress without having to go outside and check on it. MPPT does a great job with the charging process. After trying it out for a few weeks, I bought a 2nd one for my remote cabin's solar system. Manufacturer customer service was great when I inquired about other products.

easy to install
I purchased this power inverter for my solar panel project. After watching various youtube videos on power inverters I chose this one as it seemed to check all the boxes for my needs. I am happy to report that I was able to easily install this and it is working like a charm. It's sturdy and well made (not like some of those cheap ones I've seen) and this inverter is doing exactly what I need it to. I am very pleased.

Charges fully off grid home batteries
Been running 2 of these 24/7 for about a year now. Works great. The Bluetooth and app could be better but is serviceable. A major app update would be great.

STAY AWAY
Now, I cant speak yet towards the reliability of their products (been < week), but this company certainly knows how to do it all right.I ordered this controller along with two of their 100Ah Lipos.Everything is packaged well. The items seem to be of great quality. The instructions are well designed, with GOOD English. All the parts, screws, brackets, mounting templates are included. The charge controller has huge terminal holes and feels solid. Terminals are labeled front AND bottom. Wow. Setup is pretty much PnP for 12v Lipos. The one less than stellar thing is the app. Uggh.First, HUGE!!! points for not requiring all the BS permissions so they can watch what you say/where you go/what you eat/etc. Nope. Just the bluetooth stuff it needs to function. Nothing more. The app itself is nowhere near the level of the physical stuff. Not much info. Font size issues. Odd BT connectivity issues. But, at least you can see the basics from your phone/tablet.So far, I a big fan. If the stuff proves to be reliable, and they improve the app some. They will continue to be my first choice in this product category.UPDATE (April '24):Horrible support and horrible products. 5 months in, I switched the PV from a 12v setup to a 48v (39v actual) one. With the controller still set to a battery voltage of 12v, it sent the full 39v to the batteries and my 3000W inverter. The inverter blew up. Sounded like bacon cooking and filled the entire room with smoke before it went dark and I could trip the inline fuse. This is unacceptable. I verified a couple times with a meter that it was outputting the full 39 volts while set to 12v. That is an epic failure and could have started a fire if I wasnt home. The company only responds during the early morning hours and ignores most of what you say only to ask you for info you already provided. Over and over. 24 hour wait each time.My PV array maxes out at 1800W @ 39v (more like 1200W in reality). So, even though the system supports 48v, it only supports 900W for a 12v battery. So, I apparently, in theory could have "exceeded the wattage" and it outputted the full voltage even though the system was set to 12v. Seriously. A MPPT. That's what they said.Started out so good but ended up being so much worse than all the stuff I used before. I hooked up the Ampinvt controller (that the LiTime controller replaced) and its working perfectly (39v IN -> 14v out) - with a new inverter.LiTime now refuses to replace the defective charge controller and the battery that was clearly damaged as a result - even though they are both still under warranty.Dont make the LiTime mistake!

Works flawlessly right out of the box
This controller was so easy to set up , I accidentally hooked up the solar leads up in the reverse and it let me know without causing any problems after that it took maybe 2 minutes to set up . very happy so far it is charging great with 2 lifepo4 batteries it automatically set it's self for lithium.

Works ok but the tech department has been shut down
This is a very sturdy and well-built controller. However, the product manual does not define the various battery types. They have shut down the tech department without any explanation. There is no way to find out what the various error codes mean.

Works great!
After purchasing several cheaper supposedly mppt controllers this is the best hands down. Very happy with its performance. Detects sunlight soon as the sun starts coming up. Bluetooth works great and is nice to keep an eye on the system. Spend the money and get a good controller like this. It's well worth it.
