They work as intended
We have just used about 40 pegs in securing down an anti weed ground sheet. The pegs are robust & can be driven in using a hammer or rubber hammer. We even used a small lump hammer to drive them in in hard areas. The pegs didn't flinch. They certainly hold an area in place with their 10p sized end cap. Nothing to fault here.

Would buy again
Good product for pinning the matting down before putting gravel over. Tend to have to make a guide hole with a lump hammer and old screw driver first as easilly break if a stone etc is in their way. Otherwise, very happy and would buy again.

That what you buy does what it should.
Maybe my review is not what others have found, but I can only say as I find . The pegs looked OK but when I wanted to fasten my edging round they would not go right in. My soil is soft enough and I even asked our gardener to have a try, but no, the harder you hammered the top of the pegs broke. I don't know why but they didn't work for me. Hope you have more luck than me.

Strong and good quality pegs
I used a lot of these groundmaster garden pegs. only one broke which was my own fault.. i found them strong and with making a little pilot hole first they push in weed landscape fabric very easy and without making a pilot hole . I can fault them at all and would recommend using them holding down the weed fabric making it slightly easier laying it down also.

GroundMaster 6" Garden Pegs
Have just used my first (but not last) box of these useful fixings. They are longer than what I could source locally and penetrate well. I used a wooden mallet (steel claw hammer might have shattered them) to knock them into the weedblocking fabric. Those little "spikes" help them stay in place, but expect to lose a few heads, which seem to fly off easily. Will re-order and would recommend them to anyoneconsidering a similar job.

Best used on soft ground as the pegs are prone ...
Ideal complement to the anti weed membrane. Best used on soft ground as the pegs are prone to bending and breaking in hard ground. Useful to make a pilot hole using a metal screwdriver in these instances as the pegs can then be driven home easily.

Quite good.
Used these for securing artificial grass. They're not ideal, for this application, as the "head" is easily visible, but they did the job to overcome some less than brilliant landscaping. I would add that they need a softish ground, otherwise you may find they buckle.

These are well designed
I needed to find pegs that would secure rubber safety matting on a slope. I know this is pushing the spec of these pegs since they are made for weed control fabric and the like. They are the longest and best that I could find. They have held well on installation
