ALIEN VOL. 3: ICARUS

Great story and artwork. I like how they worked in other stories and of course David. Not sure what is next, but can’t wait

marvel has done job for the franchise.

Interesting story on the "artificial persons"

I ordered this book with the first two as well. The others came damaged, this one was the only one that was pristine. Really happy with this one

As a fan of the Alien series i was infatuated with this graphic novel & how the lore the Aliens intertwines with humans & synthetics

Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s run on Marvel’s “Alien” comic ends on a semi-high-note with Volume 3, straddling the line between Volume 1’s action-vibe and Volume 2’s overt “horror-ness” in a way that feels well-balanced, if not always 100% "fresh". Still, though – the story here is fun enough, and it doesn’t hurt that artist Julius Ohta’s line work lends a sufficiently gritty look to the proceedings, helping to elevate the narrative’s impact above its - admittedly - overt familiarity.Bottom line? As a wrap-up to Johnson’s three-arc story, there’s just enough here to warrant a recommendation, particularly if you’re a fan of the previous two volumes. Here’s hoping that Declan Shalvey – who boards the series in April – is able to bring the same quality of storytelling to his run.

Aliens story was awesome

Um voo mais alto que podia alcançar, chegou ao auge e teve uma queda brusca. O volume 3 foi a melhor história em todos os aspectos. Ícarus é o nome do projeto/Alien que foi fadado ao fracasso pelos humanos, após algo dar errado no experimento.Depois de tudo ter sido destruído pela infestação de Xenomorfos os militares convocam uma equipe, a qual já foi apresentada aos leitores, para encontrar algo de interesse deles. Esse grupo acha o que queria e o inesperado também. Muitas reviravoltas acontecem e o final vale muito a pena, porque não é a primeira vez que esse desfecho já apareceu em uma história antiga da franquia Alien.

With a slight change up in the team behind Marvel's take on Alien, we have a new Artist and Colourist. However, the art style from Vol 2 to 3 isn't massively noticeable.We begin to see the threads from Vol 1 and 2 begin to come together here, and leaves me excited for the next piece of the story, and the next stage of Phillip Kennedy Johnson's Xenomorph lore. Johnson has been the writer behind all of Marvel's Alien run and has credits with other major IPs, such as DC's Superman.I would love to see him work on a storyline for the Free League TTRPG of Alien after Andrew EC Gaska.
