Panasonic HC-VXF990 Camcorder with Classic Zoom, Lens 20 x 18.91 Mpix

I bought one of these cameras a couple of years ago and up until recently I have been happy with it. But just recently I have begun having issues with the camera going out of focus during filming? I have lost many good scenes when I play the clips back on my desk-top PC only to find they are completely out of focus. You cannot tell when it's out of focus just by looking at the LCD screen in order to adjust, or correct it. I'm now looking to replace this camera with a different model. Any recommendations anyone?

My wife purchased this camcorder for me to replace my trusty Panasonic HDC-SD9 which was originally highly recommended for its HD quality and 5.1 audio recording. I had decided to move up to 4K as a cushion against obsolete technology prevention my family from viewing videos in the future. Despite all its facilities including a viewfinder, slow motion, video light shoe and external microphone socket, there is one major downfall which is not clearly made obvious in the full technical specification provided on the official Panasonic website. This is the fact that when recording in 4K the 5.1 audio facility is not available. Only stereo sound will be recorded. 5.1 audio is only available in HD mode (AVCHD). This fact is pointed out in the technical specification in such a way as to be ambiguous and unclear. So, if you wish to utilise the surround sound facility, the camera can only be used as an HD camcorder. This fact seems incredible for such a high spec unit. Surely 4K video should be accompanied by an advanced audio system? The camera is advertised as 4K and having a 5.1 microphone. Anyone purchasing the camera would assume that the two facilities would be compatible. A quick read of the official Panasonic website can easily leave the reader ignorant of this major restriction. It certainly fooled me and I would have been better off retaining my old HDC-SD9 as I like using the surround feature which can be quite impressive on edited movies. Beware!

Ho pure la 920. la 990 molto più soddisfacente, mi ha veramente soddisfatto anche nella fotografia che la uso nella pausa di registrazione.

Très bonne caméra. Beaucoup de réglages pour filmer dans quasiment toutes les situations d'éclairage. De pouvoir filmer la nuit est un plus: filmer bébé qui dort sans le réveiller... Il est préférable de filmer avec le viseur qui est de bonne qualité plutôt que l'écran, vous multipliez par deux la durée d'enregistrement. Attention cependant si vous devez filmer dans des endroits humides, pensez a bien protéger votre caméscope dans un sac plastique par exemple. Dommage qu'il manque un manuel d'utilisation plus détaillé des différents réglages: Il faut aller à la pèche aux renseignements sur internet. La stabilisation de l'image est très bonne. J'ai acheté une deuxième batterie de 3900mAh avec chargeur pour pouvoir filmer sans problème un évènement important. Je recommande ce produit .

La tengo desde finales de diciembre de 2017 y de momento me falta por hacer la prueba definitiva, que es llevarla de vacaciones. En lo que la llevo usado hasta el momento, puedo afirmar lo siguiente: - Muy buena calidad de materiales. Se ve una máquina robusta. - Aunque no es una máquina de bolsillo, tampoco es una máquina enorme. Se puede llevar fácilmente a cualquier lado. Un defecto, no trae correa para colgar al cuello. En mi caso esto lo solucioné adaptando la correa que tenía de mi antigua cámara de vídeo Panasonic. - Facilidad de manejo de los menús. Te haces con ella enseguida. - Calidad de imagen sobresaliente, y sobre todo el estabilizador fantástico. - La cámara de fotos, sin ser una cosa del otro mundo, te saca del apuro de una manera mucho más que digna. - En cuanto a la autonomía, aunque no está del todo mal, con la batería que trae de serie no te da para pasar el día por ahí echando planos. Necesitas comprar una batería de recambio, que tampoco es necesario que sea original. - En mi caso el precio fue estupendo, ya que yo la compré en una oferta por 587,37 Euros En resumen, no se lo que un profesional del vídeo puede sacar de esta cámara, pero para el uso que yo le doy (doméstico un poco avanzado) la recomiendo al 100%. También digo para el que tenga dudas.... si no tienes ni idea de esto y lo que quieres es sacar un par de planos del cumple del niño o de un día de playa, tienes otras opciones mucho más baratas.

J'avais déjà un HC-VXF920 qui m'a rendu de fiers services pendant 3 ans, avant d'être submergé par une vague en mer : irréparable. J'ai donc acheté le modèle HC-VX990 en confiance. Dorénavant je prendrais la précaution de le mettre dans un sac étanche avant de me rendre dans des endroits "humides".
