Good Buy
Purchased this for my 30 pound Border Collie. It's large enough for him to stand, turn around, and sleep in. It was one that I was sure was airline approved and it is light enough to easily handle. Has a good, sound metal door with a strong latching mechanism (unlike some of the other brands) and metal vents. The openings for hold-down straps are easy to use and the whole crate is holding up to use. The size was exactly the measurements advertised. The measurements listed are the outside, it is about 29" x 19.5" x 23" inside. The carrier fits inside the little Honda Insight.Additional Comments: Other reviews mentioned the lack of a handle. I have never seen carry handles on any carriers other than the smaller sizes, it is easier and safer to carry from the sides. Also, I wouldn't use this as a crate for daily crate training, it isn't roomy enough. This is really only designed for travel use.

Great kennel for airline travel
Ordered this last minute before flying my senior dog from Texas through Hawaii to Guam. Easy to set up and worked well. Roomy enough for my 20 pound Boston Terrier to be in for her journey. The water bowl attachment fit perfectly to the door. I zip-tied the front and back, where they have holes for, per recommendation of the relocation company. Great kennel.

Perfect size for our Shiba Inu
We got the 32" kennel for our Shiba, who loves to lounge inside it during the day and sleeps in it every night. We used to have the size just below, which he also fit into, but he had to duck down a little when inside ... So we decided to get him a bigger "condo" so he'd be more comfortable, and we can tell he appreciates the extra room. Very sturdy crate, no top handle on this size though, but there are "lift" hand holds on either side.

Vari Kennel Ultra
Looks sturdy and well made compared to other kennels. Nice thick plastic and metal hardware. Dark and cozy inside. Using this to fly my dog internationally.Just be aware, the sizing seems to be off. My dog is a 30lb beagle, so technically she should be in a crate one size smaller than the intermediate. I went one size up and she fits just perfectly in there; not too big, not too small. If I had gotten the size smaller like they suggest, it would have been much too small. I tested out the size larger than the intermediate in the pet store and that's what I would purchase for her if I were going to keep her crated during the day as it was a bit more roomy and comfortable looking.

Happy Camper
I bought this kennel for my active Corgi mix pup after he rampaged through a metal mesh kennel. I needed some way to be able to confine him and keep him from tearing apart the house. This kennel arrived with a small hole punch in the top back edge, like it was bumped into something during manufacture or packaging. The packaging was fine and I don't think it happened in transport, especially since the missing piece wasn't in the box. The defect didn't affect the structural integrity of the product and was merely a cosmetic blemish. The crate secures nicely, and there is a small hole along the top edge of the entrance where one can put zip ties for extra security during travel. Since I'm not using it for travel I simply drop a nail through the hole and that prevents the door from opening should the dog somehow get through the latches. The latches seem strong and are easy to use, and I've not had any problem with them not holding. The dog has chewed the plastic along the bottom inside edge but that hasn't affected the function of the crate. So far the crate has worked very well. My dog is a little over 30 lbs and fits comfortably. He can stand and turn and seems fairly content once he realizes he's being crated for awhile. He now sleeps in the crate all night long without a peep, thank goodness. Other than the inconsequential hole along the top, the crate has met all my expectations. I can't give a recommendation for travel, but for home use it has worked well, appears sturdy, and my dog seems to like it.

Awesome kennel
Works as intended. My heeler goes in it and lays does sometimes by himself, so I just keep the door open, unless I'm having a contractor over to work on something. Then he goes in and the door gets shut.

Transport from Hawaii to Dallas TX.
The items were easy to assemble. And they were spacious for my guys. I bought two because of two dogs. I'd do it over again. Sturdy and well made.

We love it and moreover
We love it and moreover, our dog loves it. It took a short time of giving rewards in the crate and she took to it. We've lined it with the canine camping thermarest and a regular standard size (human) bed pillow for the winter. Now it's her favorite hang out. It is sturdy, easy to clean out, well ventilated and in winter we drape a few blankets over it and it's cozy enough. And it costs significantly less than at our local (remote mtn. town) pet/feed store. All in all, a great deal!
