I’m in a community garden and must vacate each October.** A: I haven’t tried but I think so. The connectors are all plastic so it shouldn’t rust together. Mine has only been up since April. **Q: This lists the width (the span of the 'opening' where one might walk through/under) as 60". If I need it to span 63 inch is there some give to it?** A: if it is not spanned 8ft wide the middle will be more than 6ft. with the span at 8ft, the middle is 6ft. tall **Q: How tall is this in the middle though? Important info.** A: Mounted mine with legs inside two 1ft. raised gardens, legs were on solid ground in gardens before adding soil. I am 6 ft tall and can walk through, roughly 7 ft. tall. Nice trellis well made, not that hard to assemble if handy. **Q: Can this stay out in winter in zone 5 or should be taken off after growing season?** A: I'm in zone 5 and planning on leaving mine out for the winter. However, it is not too difficult to take it down either.
