I bought this for my brother as a Christmas gift. By the time I called him on Christmas day he'd already completed it (he enjoys a good Lego build!). I'd previously bought him the London Architecture set and he'd enjoyed that one. I selected the San Francisco set as visually I think it has more interest that some of the other Lego Architecture sets. I particularly enjoy the forced perspective on the Golden Gate Bridge.I do find the Architecture sets to be a little over priced, but they are nice display pieces so I'm willing to pay it. I also like the packaging for the Architecture sets. They are black with a fold up lid so look more premium than standard Lego sets (ideal as this was a gift). I also like that the instruction booklet gives some information on the buildings referenced in the set.This set made a great Christmas gift, and my brother was really happy with the build.Pros:- One of the better looking Lego Architecture sets (in my opinion).- Usual Lego quality.Cons:- A little expensive but in my opinion it was worth it.

My husband said this was challenging and fiddly but he really enjoyed making it up

Quite easy to do, about 3-4 hours. Bit tricky with the architecture book being blank pages and hard to tell which bits as similar red / brown parts don't show up well on the black.Hardest part was the last thing - the pipe part of the bridge.Loved the little houses.Preferred the Statue of Liberty.

One piece of this model was missing, a (very small) base block from the Alcatraz part. The model still looks great and I would order it again. It is a beautiful model and great fun to make, even with the missing part I would still highly recommend. I have ordered the London set knowing this because they look so beautiful completed and are really fun to make.

Such a cute little gift and the small details were very nice. Not massive so you can easily put it up as decor after you’ve done building it.

I was disappointed that several key pieces were missing so I had to cobble the Lego kit together from spare bricks from other projects

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son. He enjoys the Skylines series and has multiple sets. Wonderful idea as a souvenir for those places he has visited.
