Very nice!
I used this to finish a custom motorcycle helmet project, and it worked really well. The matte finish came out smooth and even without looking chalky or cloudy. It gave the helmet a professional-looking final coat while still letting the design underneath stand out. The can activated easily, sprayed consistently, and laid down nicely with proper prep and light coats. Once cured, the finish felt durable and held up well to normal handling while we were assembling and wearing the helmet. If youโre looking for a true matte clear coat for automotive or motorcycle projects, this is a solid option. Just be sure to follow the safety instructions and remember that once the 2K hardener is activated, you have a limited working time, so have your project ready before you spray.

The only clear coat I use for valuable projects
I don't know how SprayMax does it, but I have used several of their clear coats and the consistency of spray, quality of application, self-leveling, and strength of finished product is absolutely phenomenal. The depth and luster is very nice, but for an amateur, it's about the ability of the product to cover up application mistakes. It feels like SprayMax 2K is magic in a bottle in this respect.

Pot life is WAY longer than 48h when stored in a fridge
First of all, this paint is very high-quality and does everything claimed. I have used several cans in different sheens. However, Spraymax claims the pot life is "48 h at 68ยฐ F", which I accidentally found out is WAY longer when stored in a fridge. Most who use this know when storing mixed can in a cool area, it will last longer, but not by much -- or so I thought... I accidentally left a can in my fridge for almost three weeks. I figured I would try it just to see what would happen, because surprisingly it was still in a liquid state inside the can. It kind of sprayed, but not well. Same thing that happened when I had tried other cans in the past after about 3-4 days. This time though, it occurred to me to try a new nozzle, and it spray perfectly fine. The paint leveled and cured normally. I couldn't believe it. I still have a bit left, so I'm going to see how long I can push this before it stops working. Considering the price, I'm kicking myself for throwing away previous cans because most of my projects only require about half a can. It seems all I needed to do was to either somehow clean the nozzle, or replace it.

Smooth finish.
Went down smooth, finished great with minimal prep work.

A Good Durable Clear Coat
I used this clear coat on my rifle, and it turned out quite nice. I put it over a few different camouflage paints, and it still kept it matte just like I wanted. It dried overnight and my rifle now has a good protective coating on it. My only complaint is that on the can it has no instructions on when to apply clear coat and what conditions it must be to put it on. I just put in on when it was around 55 degrees outside, and the paint was about a week dry. I will definitely use this again.
