I started buying my dog Himalayan Chhuri Yak milk chews in 2014 when I got them through his groomer who specialized in all things organic and natural. This was not a mainstream product for dogs yet, as they didn't gain popularity until the original Nepalese makers came to America to pitch their product on Shark Tank. Since then every farmer in America has gotten on the bandwagon and mixed dairy cow milk into the blend. Yak milk and dairy cow milk has different molecular makeup, Yak milk has significantly less lactose than dairy cow milk, and the difference also creates a lower quality flakey chew. I have been trying different brands over the last 4 years and the quality keeps worsening. Raw Paws are the REAL DEAL! No flaking, no breaking if dropped, and last 3x's longer than the top-selling brands. When you have a dog with food allergies and breed that is known to be lactose intolerant, it really makes a difference. I have now put them on my subscribe & save delivery.

The media could not be loaded. So far these two boys love them.They cannot power through them like some other bones we have tried. They are hard and keeps them busy, they can bite chunks off but they are small pieces (yes these boys have strong jaws) .

These chews last about as long as one can expect for a 4 year-old Australian Cattle Dog. Sometimes he paces himself and they last days, and occasionally he eats it within a couple hours. Himalayan chews are the only thing that last longer than about two seconds with this guy! When he starts to look a bit antsy/crazy, I ask him “Where’s your cheese?“ and he will go get it.Our original order had one or two of the chews that had a few tiny little black dots. I contacted the company, and they sent me a new bag immediately. They are a small, family owned business, and were very nice and responsive. I did not have to return the others, which was nice because not all of that chews in the bag were affected. The spots were quite superficial, didn’t fully look like mold, but I didn’t give them to my dog to be on the safe side. The company also included another bag of a different type of treat, which was really sweet.Their price is significantly lower than some of the other companies out there, and given their customer service, durability of the chews, and the fact that they are a small family business, they will be keeping my business.

I will say my dog does like these but there are other chews I would say he prefers more. I have a 65 lb golden retriever and one of these in the large size usually last him about a hour and half if he’s chewing it the whole time. I like to give him one of these if it’s a rainy day and we don’t get out so he has something to do for a bit to keep him from being bored. They are kind of pricey though in my opinion. Also beware they are pretty hard and sometimes it sounds like he is going to break a tooth when he is chewing on these but he seems to do okay and could just be me over thinking. I’d just say beware if you have an older dog with weaker teeth.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these. I purchased the medium size 1st they seemed a little small so then I purchased the large the large was perfect for my two Frenchie bulldogs they don’t smell they don’t make a mess and they last a very long time it’s the only thing I’ve been able to give my Frenchies without them getting sick, I plan on buying these forever

Contacted the seller and they said if there was any problems with quality they would stand behind them even though amazon says not returnable.Takes my JR at least a week to chew through one so win for me as she chews through everything else in an hour or less.

I need something to keep my pups busy while I'm working from home, and these do the trick for the most part, but they are so expensive. I've read other reviews, and I know it's because of the process, but I'd love to find a like product that can stand heavy chewers, doesn't smell bad, and is cost effective. :(
