The mixture was newly made and fresh
I like the added perlite in the mixture, and I think it allows the roots to expand easier with the added space it gives them. My plants seem to be very happy in their vegetative state and I can’t wait to see the results in flower. I’ll come back to update my review after I’ve seen the performance of the product after they flower. All in all it seems like a very good product and there wasn’t anything like rocks or wood chips added into the mixture like some other brands.

clean
this stuff is really clean. i found one little twig in the entire bag. tons of perlite. i dont think it would be possible to overwater this in a grow bag. i tried the compressed bricks, and rice hulls for a while. huge pain. this is easy. it wasnt enough to fill 3, 5 gallon bags. maybe not even 3, 4 gallon bags, as a point of reference.
