Fackelmann Pestle and Mortar 14cm

I would not recommend this pestle and mortar at all. I don’t know if mine was just a defective one or what, but it arrived with lots of mould on the wood. It was shrink wrapped and as soon I removed the wrapping you could smell the mould. I tried in vain to wash it but it’s unusable. I will be returning it for a refund. Do yourself a favour and get a different one.

There are small splinters coming loose from the wood.While I hope this would not pose a danger, I can’t bring myself to using this item, so I better send it back.
