TIMEGUARD 4 Gang Outdoor Multi-Connector box WP401 weatherproof

A very functional item and pleased with our purchase. Access to screws a little tricky but ok. We would purchase this product again as there is plenty of space inside for 2+ transformers re: Outside Christmas lights.

As the included 4 gang plug did not work, we had to waste one of ours and cut the cable off in order to fit it.No point returning the item as we already spent a few hours of wasted time trying to work out where the fault was and had installed the waterproof box.

The screws to keep this tight and sealed are made from cheap metal, and cut up easily. This results in a box you have to crack open to get in rendering it useless. I bought two, and both went the same way. I replaced with a different brand. Avoid.

The plastic box is as expected, however i was disappointed to find that the strip plug doesn’t actually come with a wire so it’s a bit pointless. The image in the advert shows a wire and there’s no mention in the item’s description that a wire has to be self installed.

This is my second one for back garden this time. The first one i bought was a few years ago for front garden and is still perfect. Easy to install. Nightmare when using for temporary fixings (Xmas lights) due to 7 screws that need to be removed but reassuring that it is weatherproof even in the heaviest downpour

Despite having six screws to open I highly rate this product......it is extremely well made and perfectly suited for outdoor use.....I have used one of these boxes for many years and it has proven very reliable.......Just purchased another from Amazon......

Good and watertight but difficult to align the screws. Easy to overtighten and distort.Good for a few years outdoor use (based on previous experience with same model)

Hasn't leaked so far. Very sturdy and the seal is working well.
