Copied my padlock keys
I bought this specifically to copy my various padlock keys. I have multiple padlocks and wanted an additional spare key for each. Getting keys made at a local lock smith or a big box store is a less than ideal but I didn’t want to buy an electric key cutter for a handful of keys. Line up the keys properly and use a pair of vice grips to keep them together. I’ve never hand cut a key before but I was successful copying the keys I needed. I watched a YouTube video, followed the guy’s advice and it worked.

Works reasonably well

Simple and easy to use
Works great. Duplicated 3 keys already and it worked flawlessly. Some notches need multiple cuts to match the contour if the original but works perfectly

Super cool, spend 60$ on this and blanks to save myself 20$
It works. Takes a few to get used to but it’s pretty awesome once you get the hang of it. It’s mostly for fun but it does make functional keys. Used to duplicate my mailbox and house keys.

Nice works well
That was so excited for this thing and was already, ready to give it five stars before it ever got here but I'm a bit disappointed. As far as a functioning pair of key cutting pliers these are great and printed on them, they've got the face of the man myth and legend himself Mr. Lishi, again functionally they don't disappoint but I expect a lot when I see the Lishi stamp and I feel like I got a used pair of pliers for the cost of new pliers fresh out of the box there are scratches small little divots/burr spots if you are familiar with or used Dremel / rotary tools and never had one run from you off the surface you're working on across the surface you're trying not to.. that exact type of damage is what mine had on it I don't think it came from a dream was just very similar in appearance. Also there is a lot of grit grime dust hair and shavings from different materials inside and around all the moving parts there's even a little bit of rust trying to start here and there just little speckles but still nothing.. NOTHING about this screams I'm a brand new product everything about it says you got a tool somebody else no longer wanted. As I said it still works I still got what I needed but this is a big part of my life and I really value and hold tools like this with special regard and that was very excited to receive MY new pair of pliers not the ones somebody else didn't want anymore / return. Who knows though maybe it's just part of the production process and maybe even they test them before they leave the factory like they clip a couple pieces of key or something that could explain it but with that said their quality control definitely needs to step their game up because there's still no excuse for all the scratches, dents, oxidization, and all the spots that look like it's been ground on by something/something grinding against it. Oh then finally I'll add the spots I talked about they were starting to oxidize they weren't even the places where it had been damaged the place you would expect for oxidization to start first it was on undamaged parts of the pliers.. I don't get it...like I said still great and still grateful to have them, just disappointed.

Cut Ignition Key for Ford Expedition
Worked well to cut an ignition key for my Ford Expedition. Only had to use a small file on a spot where the cut needed to be a little flatter.
